Drive thru workers are the most harassed on the internet. Whether it may be pranks or people not caring.
Truly undeserved, especially since it's mostly people either starting off in the workforce or getting their lives back on track.

worked at krispy kreme and dunkin donuts and yeah, if more than half of what happens to other fast food workers happened to me id just quit. Dealing with co-workers and customers is enough already lol.

It might be scary but there are a failsafes. Most rides either brake when power is cut or are built in a way that they'll go back to rest when losing power. Such as spinning and swinging rides. On top of that, most places have back up power just in case. It's more scary than threatening as long as you don't do something silly out of fear.

Incase you were wondering, if the power goes out on a ride, it will automatically slow down and eventually stop so no one was hurt by the ride even though he didn’t say ‘no one was hurt’, all rides are safe!
You have way more chance of getting hurt going to the theme park/amusement park/fun fair then on one of their actual rides.
For example, news articles also like to make rides seem like the most dangerous things in the world whilst really a roller coaster got stuck on a Vertical Lift Hill for 20 mins and then the park got it back up and running SAFELY and everyone was fine.

Alright, did some research, it looks a bit like the Harley Quinn Spinsanity Ride at Six Flags in Maryland, but the colors don't match up 100%, so the one in the video is maybe the same ride in another theme.
It had another type of malfunction that made the steel bend heavily in the wind, but I don't think it's the same one.

I worked a drive-thru window for *FIVE* years in the early 2000s. During all that time, only one person tossed their ice water at me. If not for the guy’s facial expression that gave it away, I would’ve gotten soaked. I was barely able to shut the window in time. (It was the closing shift and I would’ve had to walk home wet in below freezing temperatures.)
