The amount of toleration that some cats have overpass some of the most patient people on earth and that cute little fella in frame 2:11 is a perfect example of that fact
I don't think that's merely toleration. Some cats like really rough physical attention. There's a whole subgenre of people beating their cats ass with a paddle. And not just light tapping. Full on smacking. This might be a variation of that.

If it's anything like my cat, probably attacks the tail a lot. When she does, my dog basically goes "HEY! STOP THAT!" and I get onto her... because she's much bigger. My cat likely recognizes this, and does it specifically to get my pup in trouble.
