I still haven't been able to identify his mental disorder, that justifies this obsessive love he feels for her. But she didn't help either: instead of playing his game to calm him down and get out of there, she added more "fuel to the fire", said things she shouldn't have and then regretted it... I also can't take my eyes off this drama. I keep watching it over and over again, wanting to understand his disorders and her denial. Oh, congratulations to the actors for this film, it was fantastic and chilling. Especially him, who played the character of the seventh prince! He managed to make me feel like he really loved her. What a beautiful performance!

I dont usually comment on these but save yourself the heartache if you're a normal person. There's a lot of DV and SA in this one, had to skip a few hours ahead. The only reason why I finished it is because the acting is really good on this one and the chemistry is there as well. Not a happy ending but he didnt deserve one. On another note: don't date men who are obsessed with you.

This is the best Chinese drama I have had so far, I'm in love with the lead actor and actress. The movie is full of overwhelming emotions and I must say I wouldn't get bored of watching it even after watching it a million times. I felt relief when I learned that Chen didn't kill her family and I wish it could be settled a long time to have them live happily together but it is what it is. I'm glad it's just a movie because I pity both of them. Lots of love to everyone that made this movie great, and warm hugs and love to Yao and Chen❤❤❤❤ from Liberia 🇱🇷

This is one of the most disturbing dramas I have ever seen . It was quite god and enjoyable till 1.40 hour or so .. but the violent love , the obsession / possession of a person made it really tough to watch . I defo don’t recommend if you expect a drama with love and few twists .. this is all about psychological and physical obsessive possession .
sometimes the line between respect and gratitude becomes very thin. people often forget how they came to be and generally make mistakes that led them to that same path of destruction. this male lead had a rough upbringing and the experiences made him ruthless but his obsession with the female lead was not coincidental but rather his hope to survive and face that person who he was becoming, seeing her was making him think that he still has hope to be a good person, he did have the guilt in back of his mind but was rather in denial to accept thinking that if this last person leaves him, he will completely become a bloody monster than just a ruthless human. As for the female lead, she does have great potential to show some raw emotions. but to compare her with others, she had a much lucky childhood and even got good people even after the tragedy; and a person who has emotional stability in the back of her mind makes me wonder that how could she not break out of her hatred! she actually made her biggest strength into her greatest drawback. so what that everyone was betraying her, lying her; if her obsession towards revenge can make her this strong then her obsession could have gotten her the freedom she was vying for. it was she who couldn't let go of the past and continued to exploit herself and those around her. By the way great acting............. If any one could recommend some great dramas like this I will be greatful 😌
Watching this again. Did Chen know an attack would be tried that day??, And the woman walked off on you dieing . that was the biggest signal if he didn't want to accept the others. Let It Go. Yet in the end, she finally realized she loved him . Just her hate was soo deep, and his manipulation and threats cost to much. .
She misunderstood him, hence his rough behaviour towards her. He was possessive of course. It was him who stayed true to her til the end, no matter how he got there.

It was quite god and enjoyable till 1.40 hour or so .. but the violent love , the obsession / possession of a person made it really tough to watch . I defo don’t recommend if you expect a drama with love and few twists .. this is all about psychological and physical obsessive possession .
sometimes the line between respect and gratitude becomes very thin. people often forget how they came to be and generally make mistakes that led them to that same path of destruction. this male lead had a rough upbringing and the experiences made him ruthless but his obsession with the female lead was not coincidental but rather his hope to survive and face that person who he was becoming, seeing her was making him think that he still has hope to be a good person, he did have the guilt in back of his mind but was rather in denial to accept thinking that if this last person leaves him, he will completely become a bloody monster than just a ruthless human.
As for the female lead, she does have great potential to show some raw emotions. but to compare her with others, she had a much lucky childhood and even got good people even after the tragedy; and a person who has emotional stability in the back of her mind makes me wonder that how could she not break out of her hatred! she actually made her biggest strength into her greatest drawback. so what that everyone was betraying her, lying her; if her obsession towards revenge can make her this strong then her obsession could have gotten her the freedom she was vying for. it was she who couldn't let go of the past and continued to exploit herself and those around her.
By the way great acting.............

Yet in the end, she finally realized she loved him . Just her hate was soo deep, and his manipulation and threats cost to much. .
