Now this is what you call exquisite revenge. Her tactical skills can't be matched. She was playing masterclass chess, while everyone else was playing connect 4. Even her husband who was only a step behind, could match her, but he was there to be her rock and defender if/when she needed him. The best thing he did for though was to be vulnerable in front of her and tell her of his love for her. Finally, someone loved her for her. This was so well done and will be on the rewatch list.
This mini-drama is made with low budget, as I can see. It's funny to see that there's no enough opulence sets, custom jewelleries', attendants, servants, soldiers, etc., for the whole drama. But this aspect doesn't affect the good story line and acting of the cast members. This is really an enjoyable mini-drama.
This is one of the short drama that is fluid in telling the plot. The acting of the characters are also great.. The male lead is superb and the female leads facial and eye expression is so good
Such a wonderful drama. Evil actually get what they deserve. For a mini drama they did an excellent job of writing a story that doesn't feel pieced together from a much larger with a bunch of storyline missing. I wish it was a longer storyline but only because it was so well done I just wanted more. The fl is excellent with her facial expressions. You see the hate and disgust for her enemies even in the false smiles she gives. The slow quiet chemistry that develops between the leads was perfect. This is my favorite time travel drama. Great acting, no plot holes, no beating of women and strangling them, revenge was accomplished and it didn't drag. LOVE IT. Anytime it comes across my timeline I rewatch it.

Excellent job! The script was written sensibly and well executed. The performance of Wu Ming Jing (Murong Qiuyu) and Chang Bin (Li Jian) and the supporting couple should be applauded. Why is it that the more I rewatch the full version more, and more conversations are mute. Thankfully, English subtitles are added to make the conversation understandable yet horrible when you want to "hear" what is being said. My ability to hear Chinese being spoken is helping me to understand many repeated words by all the Asian, mostly Chinese movies I am learning the language. I look forward to the time I no longer need English subtitles to understand what is being said. Loved it! Actors were great. The second sister was especially good. Shows what you can do on a small scale. Never a dull moment. Even the camera work was good. I think the most honest moment came from when the heroine recognized that she and her sister were alike. The heroine acknowledged her prior evils.
I just wished that at the end of this movie it would have ended with her telling him that she was pregnant with twins (boy baby & girl baby) because then it’s like she not only got her first baby back but also a bonus baby too. Plus that way the directors & producers can create a new movie about her raising them up in the palace and also on the battlefield. Maybe even watch them get married as adults too. But that’s just my opinion on what should happen. The movie was great, loved all the characters and plots & how her husband never had any real doubts about her feelings towards his brother and her half sister & stepmother. She loved her dad and he loved her too but he was devoted to her stepmom until he found out that maybe she was not faithful to him for several years and that it’s possible that her half sister was actually a bastard child who was born from an unfaithful affair with her stepmom and who knows how many men she was secretly dating during their marriage. I mean her daughter was definitely not a pure type of woman she had several times with the 2nd prince out of wedlock. She was probably jealous because of her sister was still a pure, beautiful, loving, talented woman who was also very brave and talented in martial arts. The evil sister was just a spoiled bastard who thought she had a real biological father who would spoil her over his other daughter. News flash you might not be his daughter so he will start spoiling & supporting his real daughter from now on.😂

this reborn drama is the best one I have seen so far. And I've seen a lot but mostly just remake of the same one with different actors. The stepmother of the FL always leaves me hating her. Guess she is a good actress because I have not seen her and liked her characters. They picked her well because she just looks the part. Don't know if she can even get away with playing a good person. Anyway this was not the usual cheesy dramas that are a dime a dozen. Well made, acted and implemented. FL was stupid before being reborn and who knows if she was even a bad person. She is hell bent on revenge but under the circumstances knowing most of what is going to happen does not make you strong or smart. You just have insight and she uses it well. She is cold and cunning and pretty damn cool in how she implements revenge on each person,

this reborn drama is the best one I have seen so far. And I've seen a lot but mostly just remake of the same one with different actors. The stepmother of the FL always leaves me hating her. Guess she is a good actress because I have not seen her and liked her characters. They picked her well because she just looks the part. Don't know if she can even get away with playing a good person. Anyway this was not the usual cheesy dramas that are a dime a dozen. Well made, acted and implemented. FL was stupid before being reborn and who knows if she was even a bad person. She is hell bent on revenge but under the circumstances knowing most of what is going to happen does not make you strong or smart. You just have insight and she uses it well. She is cold and cunning and pretty damn cool in how she implements revenge on each person,
I love happy endings that make you happy and cry . Good drama ❤❤
