Currently I don’t use a computer. Just the Akai Force, some synths, and an SSL Six. I also have an old Tascam Neo to record the audio but I have not really used it yet.
Interesting to hear your comparison of the 2. I guess having the same screen layout saves on maintaining 2 bits of software but I can't see that being a huge save for them on just a layout. I wonder if there is a zoom function or menu to change that I wonder?
There’s only 2 MPC’s i’ll ever use. The 3000 and the 2000. Period. I use it to create drum loops, then dump those to ADAT, but everything else is done in a DAW.

I haven't found one, and being someone who only reads the manual if I'm really stuck.....
