@@PatternsofLife Interesting. I generally start with images (could just be a photo). It puts me in a frame of mind. I don't usually try to match the music to cuts in videos (like in films) but appreciate the skill involved in that. But sometimes just a sound I come across when faffing about will be the start of something. 🙂

@@memorybugmusic that approach obviously works well for you, you do some really good stuff. I can totally get starting with an image as we are very much a visual species. I have done music with a video in mind but for the vast majority, the video was an idea after the music was written.

Yes, was the 360 transform FX in Shotcut, using keyframes to change the parameters, fiddled with a bit to get what I liked/suited 😊.
