Not saying this wanting Burnes but the Dodgers DO need starting pitchers because: 1. Sheehan isn't coming back before August. 2. Ohtani won't pitch the first couple of months (labrum surgery). 3. Who knows when Kersh is coming back but he'll lose the first months (and who knows how that'll look like). 4. Ryan and Stone are out until 2026. 5. May has pitched only 101 innings in the last 4 seasons combined (including a TJ and it's readjustment). 6. Gonsolin is there but should be traded. 7. Casparius isn't ready yet and Knack needs either more work or to be traded. 8. They need a 6 man rotation. And on top of all that, they'll be maxed at 5 innings (even less at first).
The need is 100% there for LA. We only have 3 reliable starters right now and Burnes is the top option on the market right now. Even with Sasaki that only gives you 4 and you saw how much injuries decimated the starting rotation this past season.
@ThatGuyOnRUclips2 Will Shohei pitch the whole season? Yes, Gonsolin will be coming back. Yes, May will be coming back. However, did you see Buehler coming off of Tommy John? I am not too worried about May. Dustin May might be moved to the back of the rotation, or possibly moved to the bullpen. I honestly don't know if Gonsolin has a place on this team anymore.
@ThatGuyOnRUclips2 I agree that the Dodgers probably won't get Burnes. I do think they get Max Fried. They need a lefty. Didn't you hear that Adames wants to change positions?
They just gave Glasnow a big contract. He's not going anywhere. Plus, they just gave Yamamoto a massive contract and get Ohtani back pitching this year. They really don't need another huge pitching contract. They could definitely use some bats though.
I think Burnes ends up on the Mets. They need him to try to beat the Dodgers. The Dodgers beat the Mets without him.
But they also beat them without the Mets having Soto, so there's that.
I struggle to believe the Mets will get Burnes AND Soto. Considering the Mets initial deal, I would be surprised if Soto isn't a Metropolitan.

Rockies, 10 year deal.
The Dodgers are actually an excellent fit for Corbin Burnes. However, the Dodgers desperately need a lefty.
Burns signs with the Giants and Baltimore signs Snell and Freid.

What's S stand for?

Dodgers need Burnes. Cant depend on Dodgers pitching to stay healthy.
People forget the orioles have new billionaire owners why wouldn’t they resign him Jim the Dodgers are not getting him
Dodgers don’t need pitching? Did you not watch the playoffs? 😂
They have an all star rotation coming back off the IR. Oh, and shohei will pitch

@@jessepressler208 amd glasnow. Yes, ohtaninwill be the ace of the staff. Hes that good
@@jessepressler208 they have plenty of pitching. Sasaki is a unicorn so they will push for him, but they will go for Adames in free agency

I hope my Dodgers land Corbin we need a workhorse not Tyler GalssArm
Patrick Corbin? Lol. Jk.

Mmmm...... Orioles need Burnes more than the Dodgers do!

@@brandondillman5841 They do need another top starter. They need a 6 man rotation and are filled with IF's
