Of course, being someone a bit shy, I find it hard to walk to certain people -.-
But like other's have said in this section, do your best but keep it modest and do it within the safety limitations of Islam. Eg. don't go suddenly complimenting her looks or anything, she's not your wife.
I would give an example on how to go introduce yourself, but I've never done anything like this before myself so I'm not going to pretend I know (I unfortunately have no candidate right now). Trust in Allah and keep within the limitations for your own safety and he'll (Allah) will surely guide you to the best option for you.

I'm a Chicano ( Mexican ) from Los Angeles and I don't think with the way that Islamic marriages are proposed I can find a wife. At least not a Muslim wife. Maybe a Christian wife from among my kind but even that is not encouraged for obvious reasons. Then again, my family is Catholic while I'm the only non catholic in the family. Culturally speaking, my background and our traditions are like water and oil when it comes to religion, faith, beliefs. I'd probably look for a Mexican Muslim woman since marrying a Muslim woman into a from a different background might be very problematic. It's something I've learned throughout the years.

I'm currently in a predicament, as a twenty year old male I plan on getting married in a couple of years. One issue is that I'm from Saud Arabia, where it's so gender segregated here to the point where it's very difficult to get married unless it's arranged. On top of that, parents are way too overprotective of their daughters so marriage by love is very tough here. The idea of arranged marriage is crazy to me I have no idea what to do.

Whenever I'm in relationship my parents partner they don't like me. I'm having a hard time to prove that I'm good enough or maybe not. It's heartbreaking for me to think that she deserves better. The people in the workplace is sometimes an illusion..u may think that how he or she is at work is how they will b in marriagr. No. That person is on their best behaviour bcuz they r getting paid or want to recieve a paycheque...similarly..ehen they want 2 marry u...same behaviour..and thts it.

No. Your goal isn’t to talk to him, do not get into haram interaction. If you are seriously interested and want to get married you need someone to mediate between you. You could make dua and istikhara to make yours and his heart to shift towards each other. I hope this helps you and may Allah guide you to the best in your situation.

Well, just like what shiekh said, as long as you keep it dignified and don’t get into funny talk (eg. Physical compliments) then I suppose... but then again I’m not even sure about how to approach someone as I’m a bit confused about it myself.
You know, people are saying you need someone else (a mahram) there to get to know the person of imterest like an inbetween or something, and then my own parents are saying how a, I supposed to know the person if I don’t talk to them alone (as in a private conversion with me and them, not alone in a room or anything).
I have also noted that shiekh said you can take the time to get to know each other’s likes and dislikes. Also mote that some suggestions made can likely originate from cultural practices instead of Islamic ones. As to what is cultural and Islamic, I don’t really know, just take that into consideration as you read the comments.
