Retired pilot here, started with Continental so of course I've flown that airplane. Vastly different interior of course. The "Evo Blue" paint scheme broke my heart. Continental was always "Proud Bird" and gold on the vertical fin was a hallmark.

Never flown polaris only been to the polaris lounge at LAX and SFO flying with Asiana in business class. Hope to fly polaris some day.
Does seat 7L include a good window that is easy to look out of from your seat without moving? I know it’s quite an odd question but I’m picking seats for a flight now 😂

This is domestic first class. "Polaris Business Class" is only offered on international flights.
Yes but it’s not the typical domestic first seat. It’s a lie flat seat that is sometimes marketed as business on long haul flights. Likely this was a positioning flight before a long haul.
Was in IAD a few weeks ago. United really needs to upgrade their gates. Very shabby when compared to their other hubs, which are tops. Otherwise, love flying United. . Their Polaris is tops, especially the Polaris lounges.

They were just moving the aircraft from IAD-IAH this could be for two reasons, the plane is swapping hubs or the route is high demand so therefore they use a high capacity aircraft which has United Polaris.
