Hiking Saint John, US Virgin Islands

In this episode, the family and I hike the iconic Ram Head Trail at the southernmost point of the island of St John in the US Virgin Islands. There are many great places to hike on the island of St John but few even come close to the views that you will see on the Ram Head Trail.
We wanted to begin early since the sun and heat can really wear you down in the middle of the day. This trail has some vertical climbs and descents but it is only rated as moderate in its difficulty.
This video is meant to provide some tips as well as show what the trail is actually like.

This hike is especially great with a full moon. Been awhile since I've visited -- trash receptacles and pit toilets and trail markers wow!
