    We have a ceramic show in October, I usually take several people, we try not to ever miss one, but with Covid
    It did mess up a little, we love taken a class or two and buy bunch of things to take and work on during the
    Year, until next show.🥰👍

    I use to use fashion hues, love the affects, we base coat with cream color or white then we would wipe the color off to show the detail but it’s been so long, I’m trying to refresh my memory. I’ve never seen it done this way, I
    Do want to thank you for sharing with us, I do have a ceramic shop in Garland, Tx, not to far from us, but now
    Gas cost so much. I have a big elephant, I’m helping a man to get it painted so he can put a glass top on it for
    An end table, I just don’t to mess it up, it does have some pretty blankets on it like in India parades. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched anything on ceramics, so I really appreciate any help I can get. I remember when we use to have shops everywhere, but I’ve lost memories since then.🙏🏽👍👍💕😊

      Never heard of fashion hues, they sound interesting. My neighbor said she used to do a Hummel effect but she can't remember what it's called, she's 93. People seem to really like the dry brushing. Thanks for watching!!

    Thank you for the video.
    I just thought you should know that, most PYOP studios are mom and pop owned and not chain. The prices are based on the studio supplying all of the needed materials. brushes, paints, tools, glazes and firing if not using acrylic.

    Please let me know where do you bring or buy your ceramic dry bisque pieces from because I find a great difficulty in finding a store to sell them .

      I apologize for my delay in responding, but I just found your comment. I found a place about an hour from my home - trouble is I don't go there often. Sooo, I have purchased online --it's been a while so unfortunately I don't remember who I purchased from, BUT there are plenty of shops on Etsy that sell unpainted bisque try there. Again, sorry for the delay. Hope you find what you are looking for.

    I am in NE Philly and am looking for classes for painting ceramics, do you know of any? Thanks!

    • @paintgirlee
      @paintgirlee  3 года назад

      I am sorry I don’t-at least not in NE Philly. There is a place called the ceramic barn I think that is in marlton NJ. There is a ceramic studio on main st in pitman NJ and one called mushroom eh I’m gonna say riverside NJ - all a distance from you. All the PA studios I haunted have all closedown. Oxford valley mall did have a ceramic place, second level I think outside the Penney’s entrance. If they are still there I’m not sure if they offer lessons. I know this is not much help but it’s all I got😵‍💫

    Also, I believe the girl is mrs. Santa and not a snowgirl . There are different Santas and snowmen in that set. There are 3 each in each mold so three male 3 female santa and the same with snow people.

      Interesting, never thought of Mrs. Clause as having branches for arms -- thanks for your input.

      I'm sorry. I meant there are 3 Mrs. Santas with regular arms . There are 4 molds. 3 pcs in ea. Mold. 3 Santas in one, 3 Mrs. Santas, 3 Mrs. Snowmen in one, and 3 Mr. Snowmen in the 4th.

    Hi. I just came across your video from 8 months ago. I am a ceramicist in SC. I teach in one of our rec centers. I pour my own ceramics with over 20,000 molds. I have to stay current with all that's going on in the industry because my students want to do the latest. If you would ever like some help I will be glad to help. My bisque is no where near as expensive as the shops you have to go to. Not even near half price even. I'm sorry that I don't have a catalogue but could take pictures of things that would be good to paint in acrylic. Just let me know.
