After your finished chalking can you antique the article then spray to seal everything??
It's best to antique before chalking. The color will show through the chalk.

What kind of antiquing do you use for going over white acrylic paint to make shadows and then chalk over
I didn't do any antiquing, but you can use a product like Fashenhues or make a wash with Duncan Thin & Shade and acrylic.

You did not antique the pieces… I have generally antiqued then spray with porcelain spray…
