Wow, it looks real. Thank you for the lesson. I'm getting the bark mould it's a good texture mould, watching you gave me inspiration for using bark. You are a good teacher.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad by the sounds of it that you're going to give dry brushing a go. It is a technique that can really lift your work and add so much dimension to your work. Have fun, happy crafting 😀
@@lynnebritton3867 thank you so much for your very kind comments. I've demonstrated craft on shopping TV in the UK for 20 years. So I always try and cram as much information as I can into my videos. I hope this video and a few more on my channel are useful to you. 😀
Have a question on this one too .. About the brush, how “hard” is the brush you cut down .. have so many brushes and really want to make one like yours 🙂
@Snuske68 the bristles on the brush being shorter are pretty stiff. They don't really bend. You can get special dry brushing brushes that are cut flat at the ends. These can be quite expensive, but I can't seem to get on with them that well. Give a go at cutting down one of your old brushes. I cut mine so that the bristles were about 8-12mm in length. Let me know how you get on. My biggest tip is to clean the brush regularly. Because it only has a small amount of paint on when in use. The paint will dry quicker on the brush. Hope that makes sense. 😀
@@MixedMediaArtsAndCrafts Thanks again .. Yes those brushes are expensive and im just happy to know I have 2 brushes I can cut down 😁 .. and about the cleaning, im the one who always tells people to remember to clean your tools every time your done and in between 🤣 .. I will let you know how it ends up later.. Thanks again .. love your teaching videos 👍🏼
@Snuske68 thank you for your kind comments regarding my videos. And don't forget to practice what you preach... clean those brushes😆 I hope your dry brushing goes well. It can take a bit of time to perfect... but once you have, you'll be dry brushing everything 😀
