Cool thing you got there , every time I do a cleaning on a mini split I just get that Nu-Calgon mini split cleaning kit U ever used one? Comes with 2 cans of cleaner and those gel tabs for the drain pan What gets me is almost every time I go to do one the homeowner has nothing moved and I got to spend ten minutes moving tables and picture frames 😂 Even on mini splits some people just don’t understand the importance of servicing your equipment Good job once again
It's funny that you said Nu-Calgon. My kit arrived a day after this video was shot! Lol. Yeah this one was up in a bedroom and there was NO ROOM! To move around.
Great video. Any chance you found a 90° nozzle tip for using on mini splits? I ordered one, should be here on Saturday. I liked it bc you can connect to 110. The battery-operated ones seem to cost a lot more. Thanks again.
Did you find a 90⁰ nozzle tip or a 90⁰ wand attachment? I'm looking for the 90⁰ wand attachment. Haven't been able to locate the one that fits perfect with this blaster. The 45⁰ angle is not enough for hitting units with the blower wheels still attached. Instead, I have to take a few extra minutes to remove the blower wheel to make sure it's thoroughly clean in there. I've seen another video that shows someone cleaning a mini split head with the 90⁰ wand and they were able to hit the wheel at a good angle to remove debris from the wheel without taking the unit apart.
@@ADVANHVAC hope all is well my friend have a good weekend look forward to the next video Have a leak search in the am for a family member that has no $, so have to see where the problem is and try to figure out how to help them 9 year old Goodman heat pump air handler, if not the shraders I’m 80% it will be the indoor coil lol
You as well, are all good here! Editing a video as we type. Going to the Lakeshore Lake Michigan with my Better half! In the late am for the Day! Should be a good time. Hope you find that leak and it's an easy fix! And NOT the coil lol.
That looked like a coated coil before your washed it. You're not supposed to use anything but clear water on a coated indoor unit coil. It will take the coating off in flakes that look like dirt if you didn't know otherwise.

No, I do have the old school washers with the orange tank and built in battery. Those were really expensive.

im starting to see the negative side of mini splits
What that they need maintenance like everything else? It’s just different kind.
@@calikokat100 yes nobody told about this when they taught us about them. it’s a scam!
Does it damages the indoor or outdoor coils?
No.
Bet that machine would help when the homeowner has a lot of cats or burns a lot of candles u know how that can get

Thanks for the tip, I have use that cleaner for years with no issues.
Not sure heavy duty cleaner is good for that customer’s lawn 😬
They have to mow it more now. 😁
