SIr, factor is calculated by dividing the concentration of known value sample with its absorbance. You can refer to our separate video on What is Factor for detailed explanation.
Dear Sir, you can refer to the Instructions for Use given in the kit by the manufacturer. In the IFU manufacturer mentioned calculations for calculating the concentration of Uric Acid using absorbance. Generally concentration is calculated by multiplying the absorbance of sample by the factor. Factor is calculated by dividing the concentration of standard by its absorbance.
Sir, factor depends on the concentration of standard given in the kit, Reagent : Sample ratio as well as the wavelength at which the absorbance is measured. If all three variables are kept constant, then the factor will not fluctuate. Apart from this, the only thing that will change factor is pipetting variation.
