The Google translate voice has a slight accent! 😂
But you both did well. 😊
Few tips.
In Finnish all letters are pronounced the exactly same way no matter what the word is. So not like in English, where letter "A" can be said several different ways depending on the word (cat vs table). Once you learn how a letter is pronounced, you just copy it.
Another thing: double letters. Double vowels mean that it's pronounced as long and double consonant that you put emphasis on it.
For example in this video we have the word "kukka". If you pronounce it as "kuka", it changes to a completely different word.
I wrote earlier that the Google translate voice has an accent and it shows for example in the word "meri" = "sea" because the voice says it like "meeri". Meeri is a female name and does not mean sea.
