I think you know that I have been experimenting with wc and adding some forms of Zentangle (and/or mark making), with inks over the dry wc background 😊 Watching your hand dance across your paper, both in adding beautiful colors, and then your Zentangle work, is just so mesmerizing! Thank you for sharing your start to finish of this piece here! I especially love this intuitive form of creating and how freeing it is for someone like myself that has just returned to the challenge of learning to draw better without taking any paid instruction/classes. Because of a few kind artists that I follow here, like yourself, I have picked up some tangle skills and practice when I’m able. The addition of the wc is something that attached to me 😂 down that cavernous rabbit hole of learning to draw better, hahaha. It’ll be a full year since I bought my first wc tubes and some nice ink pens this coming January 2025…and I’m not going back💜👩🏼🎨🎨. @@huartdrawing neither video says what black pen (none are pencils) you use over watercolors. I've tried the pens you use in those two videos but all clog on watercolors.

I’m interested to know what paper you are using. When I try to draw on watercolour paper it bleeds, but then using drawing paper you wouldn’t get the watercolours to flow?
