We need to talk about how the Rock took over both of Vince McMahon entertainment/sport endeavors. He has the XFL, now apparently the UFL and he's on the board for the company that owns WWE now.
Pat McAfee is working with the WWE, as well.. it shouldn't come as a surprise that all of these sports, including the NFL are identical to the WWE. They're all rigged/fixed/scripted whatever you want to call it.. it's really a shame.

I'm looking forward to the XFL's fourth inaugural season.
Only 8 teams and no Seattle Sea Dragons is a big bummer. Really was hoping for at least 10-12 teams.
If the league can stabilize and become profitable, they can expand later.

Next to the Battlehawks, I really liked the Sea Dragons. Shame, but hopefully they come back at some point if the league survives and grows!

Sea dragon probably got taken out because they are so much farther from other teams and it might be more expensive

In St. Louis we’re just happy we have a football team again
Couple of things:
1. Those New Orleans Breakers uniforms were nice. RIP
2. A. J. McCarron came off the bench for one play in Cincinnati and threw an absolute dart to Tee Higgins for a TD that was called back on a BS penalty. Dude can still sling it.
I went to a Michigan Panthers game last year and it was super fun. It helped me invest in the team. And tickets are cheap, so there’s really no excuse not to go to one or two games

My wife loves the jacket you are wearing from the 80s. It does look pretty darn cool. I know the merger required getting rid of several teams but I really liked the Sea Dragons. I'll watch the revised line-up of teams and decide which one to make my new "favorite" team. I do hope the Washington fans continue the beer snake tradition.
The team I miss most is the Sea Dragons. Freaking loved that team.

I went to a couple Brahmas games last season and had an absolute blast at each, definitely planning to do the same this year. St. Louis may be the most popular team in the league but I'd say San Antonio is easily #2 and not that far behind them in terms of fan enthusiasm. I really, really hope this league can stick it out and carve out their niche in spring football.
I'm happy that San Antonio's got a team and this is year two for them. That's pretty big.

Bro they’ll be back when/if the league become financially stable. Travel costs are a thing and traveling to the west coast for to play one team is a huge waist of profit

I’m excited for this. I really loved the XFL when they had their first season back & of course it was torpedoed by Covid. But this is better bc it doesn’t have McMahon’s stank all over it & they kept the rule changes. Really liked how smoothly they kept the game moving & how clearly the rules/penalties/were explained with the instant replays
Go Panthers! I went to a game last year and a highlight was having Periera's rules audio and review decisions piped directly into the stadium on all challenges
The league definitely already has a new top kicker. Don't remember the guy's name or which team, but he nailed a 64 yard field goal that probably would have been good from 67 or 68 yards. Ok, I just looked him up, he's Jake Bates with the Michigan Panthers.
Huge BattleHawks fan, don't even live in St Louis, just like to see the city get a football team again.

Last year’s XFL was wild and I can’t wait. I’m rooting for Quentin Dormady, he was accused by his coach of sabotaging the team and the Guardians were ALL sorts of dysfunctional until they somehow beat the undefeated Defenders. And then there was the WE NEED MORE POINTS in the final regular season week since the Dragons and Battlehawks had the same W/L.

I've been to every home XFL game here in St. Louis. To answer your question.....No. I mean yes, there is a bunch of awesome stuff just outside of St Louis to do especially in the spring time. We're just pissed at Kroenke and love supporting teams that rep our city proud. Also the tailgate scene is epic.

I'm looking forward to the UFL, to a point. Not exactly super hype over Dwayne as a person, but so long as the football is good and the players/coaches/owners etc. aren't making bad off-field decisions, I'll be happy.
Seattle getting shuttered is a disappointment as a fan but I think a year or two of financial success could see the UFL expand to cities each league used to have (or introduce new markets). I'd love to see all the removed teams return over time!
Dwayne Johnson and Dani Garcia are co-owners of the UFL, but the main people running this league are Russ Brandon as CEO and Daryl Johnston as Senior VP of football operations.

To answer your question on wether there is anything else to do in saint louis, we have a top 10 zoos in the nation that's free, one of the most unique attractions in the US called the City Museum, and going to a cardinals game is always a blast.

4:29 unfortunately Adrian Martinez did diddly for K-State in 2022. He was benched early in the season for Will Howard, who is now going to be playing for Ohio State this coming season

i think the special rules are due to a partnership with the nfl that the ufl tests possible rule changes

I'm disappointed they didn't start with 16 teams but I guess the funds was shorter than I thought. I try to watch as many football leagues as I can. I even watch the old NFL Europe league the EFL.
Sounds awesome but i wish it was college rules in you only need 1 foot inbounds or in endzone to count
I'm looking forward to seeing how the former USFL teams adjust to the touchdown conversion rule as well as if the XFL teams adjust their strategies now that there's a season's worth of data to analyze. I predict that there will be more 1 point attempts this year, but maybe teams will become more efficient with their 2 point plays.
