I had this car, 2001 2.7 AT sedan. It was a wonderfull car !!!! so smooth as you say. Not very quick, but the transmission is smooth, the V6 is perfect for this car (and what a sound for a non sport V6). Good confort, amazing sound system (LXI). And reliable if you respect a service every 7500 miles (10 000km)
Just sold my 04. We got it out of the show room. In the 18 years we drove it only put 98.000 miles on it. The guy that got it from us was beside himself. Garage kept as close to looking like new as possible. Had good luck with it to. In all that time we only replace the starter and alternator. No other issues. Now I'm kinda sad it's gone. Maybe I will take the new car for a drive that will make me feel better.
I bought a used sebring who had gone 16000 KM, the engine sounded nice in idle but after driving it abit I have noticed it sounds alot when going from gear 1-3 on low speeds. It switches gear right before 2 rpm but it does sound like its struggling for some reason on low speed acceleration. Once I hit 40 km/h or more it goes really quite and smooth accelerating, could something be wrong with the oxygen or transmission or is the car just making lots of sounds on low speed?
@@76Schoeneberg30 it's a fact, not an opinion. I drive a 2006 chrysler sebring 2.4L and it's a shitbox. the engine in mine blown @ 110k miles. the interior quality is trashy to say the least, the base models have no power at all it's scary to merge into traffic because of how underpowered they are. it's apparent why Chrysler stopped making the Sebring.
This car drives so smooth. You can see when he's driving it how effortless everything is.

looks like a faulty transmission
@@magicautopro the whole transmission you think or just some part of it?
as a rule, they change the whole thing, either a new one or with a car parsing
@@magicautopro im guessing a transmission on an old car like that will easily cost 1000 USD+ ?
yes, I think no less, but you will diagnose in a car service, maybe that's not the point
