Thames TV Teddington - The Penders Rap

Intended mainly for ex staff members of Thames TV (UK) - this should bring a smile to the face of anyone who worked with the late Brian Penders, an old-school showman well known for his flamboyant style on production talkback. In a quiet moment back in the day I edited some recordings of talkback, took them into the music studio at Teddington, and with the help of a certain J.O. laid them over a music track for fun. We gave it to Brian later, who loved it and drove everyone in Production mad for days playing it loudly in his office! Now I've just added a few pics to stir the memories. With apologies to Harold Faltermeyer for ruining his track "Axel F"

Hello Peter! Brian Penders was my grandad! He is deeply missed and finding this has sent a wave of happiness through our family tonight. Thankyou ever so much for capturing this.

Hi Jade 😁 I was Sound Supervisor on so many of Brian's shows over more than 10 years during his time at Teddington Studios. Always fun - your grandad was a real showman! Glad you enjoyed our little video - I know he did!
