Back in the day, the Thames Teddington Sound Dept. organised arguably some of the best staff Xmas parties, with the help of all the other departments and Thames TV's permission to use Studio 2. The performers are almost all staff members. The name "Def Aid" was just a joke about it being the Sound Department Party.
