Sylosis is everything that I want from a metal band- elements of thrash, melodic death and melodic metalcore
It just hits a sweetspot \m/
I never thought I would enjoy modern metal... but Sylosis changed that. When they emerged in the 2000s, I was hooked! Finally something where the old school style mixed perfectly with a new sound. I hope Josh keeps going now

If you’re a big fan of Sylosis check out the album Gehenna gate by lucis absentia, it’s amazing and is by far the closest in sound to Sylosis as I’ve ever heard. Nobody has really heard the band or listened so it makes me sad those dudes made such a kickass album and nobody heard it

This was one hell of a show, very little sleep and a long drive but worth it. Ended up walking away with a drum stick given to us personally by Ali and a pick from Josh to put on our Sylosis shrine in the new studio. Oh yeah, new album is AOTY too, easy 10/10. Glad you guys are back!
