- After the kind reception to last week's 'Brown' video I decided to spend my Saturday afternoon putting together a more 'complete' package with a free preset for you guys along with a loose video to demo it. What we have here is a selection of Plexi's or Plexi-style amp models with all of the tweaks mentioned in the previous video (see: • Brown Sounds and Choos... ) built around some Factory cabs in case you don't have the OwnHammer IR's also shown in that first video. So something for free and hopefully a laugh at my attempts to demo the same. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

As expected, they all sound freaking incredible!
Brett, I got a laugh from the intro... quiet mixed with some groans while picking up the guitar, immediately followed by hell breaking loose from glorious riffage. They're always great demos and full of information, but you really shine with your EVH sounds! Too much fun! I think any EVH fan would be extremely happy with these tones.
Thanks, Greg. It's all good fun, eh? All the best to you. Thanks for tuning in!
Just downloaded this preset, and tried it out with my Kramer "5150" loaded with Pariah "Pasadena Black" pickup...and OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!! EVH TONE FOR DAYS!!!!!!!! Crazy good preset, Brett! Thanks for making this available.
These are the best EVH style presets I've ever heard, you earned a sub, sir, G'day!
Time traveling to '78! Killer!!
It's not even my Birthday! Thanks for the killer gift.
It's my birthday. Today! Haha. All the best to you. Thanks for watching!
@@BrettKingman Well then Sir, Happy Rocking Birthday! We truly appreciate all of your time spent informing us & inspiring us. Thank you for all of your incredibly hard work.
I dont know now how, i dont know why, but i just hit the follow button... offcorse should have done that a long time ago. Thank you sir... your videos are really great combined with the preset (or the other way around ;) just outstanding. Cheers and good health. Hopefully for you the touring will start very soon again.
Thanks for coming onboard. I appreciate it. Rock on. :D

Yep...Nailing that tone 😀🎸
these would sound nice on my FM3 too
Sounds Great!
Downloaded!
Best video yet mate, can you ring music man and get them to make lefties please? I’ll buy the first 10.
Sorry i can´t see nothing when import plug in Axe edit III, fx3 Mark II, thanks
I keep trying tto download the jsantiago Echoplex IR and the link must not be good anymore. I own the external version of the pedal but I would like to simply have it in the Axe FX III I just purchased.
EVH...hell, yeah!!!
Your unchained sounds a good deal like a new level by pantera!
Exxxxxcellent!
Great !!!! love it ...can´t stop play kkkkkkkk... Thanks a lot again .. wonderful again!!!!!!
Hey, MS. Rock on!
Morning Brett! Are there Fm3 versions of 'KingEdwards' & BurgsBrownies' or 'AtomicBrown' presets .. the axfx III crashed my Fm3. :)
Hmm ir play on no sound thats weird not sure why Brett
wow ..., just WOW ! It's SO cool to see how the variant amps can be dialed for a very similar sound ! Have you tried Matt's Dual PEQ version of the EP-3 ? I'm curious what your opinion of that is too ? THANKS !
Nup, I haven't got that far yet, Roger. But I will..! Hope all's well with you!
This "IR play" is not available for FM3 right?
So what's with this AX3 kick? I do dig your tone.....always have......but man that digital dna is puzzling to me. I've been waiting for you to get a stereo tube amp rig up and running for a while now. You could,............I know it. That;'s why i follow you brother Brett!!!
Too bad there is no IR Play block on the FM3, cannot use the Echoplex IR....
It's just an EQ curve. Try to find the right EQ curve if you care enough, take a filter block, put that EQ curve in, done. It's just an EQ boost somewhere between 500-100hz.
This Ernie Ball Music Man and the one Cooper Carter plays sounds better than anything else I've heard with Fractal Audio AxeFx III Mk II in terms of digital modelling except Neural DSP Archetype: Nolly. For around AUD$4000 I can't think of a lighter weight more versatile option. Still some tonal compromise but it does make me wonder if digital could do 100.00% of analogue tonally.
I haven't tried the QC. I asked them if I could access a demo unit for vids when it was announced. Nup. Not interested in me. Oh well, one day, maybe. The Ernie Ball guitars are pretty unbeatable, though. That's for sure. Great axes.
@@BrettKingman QC? All my guitar gods were like Fender, Gibson, PRS, Maton... but there's something appealing about this Music Man range.
@@AlexanderSamualDunnett Quad Cortex - the Neural DSP gizmo.
@@BrettKingman I wonder if there's any way of getting a slightly warmer, fuller, less digital, grainy sound out of the Fractal Audio range. When you hit the open A major it was nailing it, and a bunch of other moments I'd be proud of on a major release. I'm still torn whether to do one 'perfect' tone or have access to 1000s that come close. Maybe get an Axe Fx and find my sound and work it until I can afford another $4000 for that last 1%.
I was wondering if there was a way of using a hotter pickup in a Music Man. Something like a Lace sensor like Jonny Greenwood uses in his Telecaster. Wish there was a way of hearing one in person.
G'day Brett, I am working on a website and a business registration. Once I have everything set-up I'd like to sent you a set of pickups. No obligation to make a video. I just need to know if you'd prefer a strat, tele or humbucker set?
No probs and thanks for thinking of me. Find my email address and shoot me a message. We'll work something out.
@@BrettKingman Where can I find youre email? Are you on Facebook? I could ask Mick
Junior is a great player but Tanya Rae is just a monster rhythm player.
