skodbolle it sounds impressive but they made a lot of engineering decisions that resulted in the need for a lot of smart stuff. Problem is, they could’ve avoided most of their problems if they had elected to forego the box.
if you are going to audition these, find a big space, sit in the focal spot and crank them up - Listen to: SRV - Tin Pan Alley, The Boxer by Mumford and Sons, Steely Dan - Asia, Patricia Barber - What a Shame, and finally Jerry Douglas - So Here We Are. I did and I had trouble walking afterwards. Astonishing! ASTONISHING!
I've been on forums where these older audiophiles have listened to sooo many speakers makes me jealous, so I wouldn't be surprised if some people have actually head the b/o sound. I've heard about a 20 different hifi brand speakers, but not these, 20 isn't very many since there are so many more great ones I want to hear.
Sounds like an understandable approach that is innovative but not tech for tech's sake. Practical solutions for long time limitations in home environments. In very general terms (not to compare brand to brand here or be a meathead) like it may sound like my Klipsch Cornwall IIs but in an anechoic chamber, with more consistent sound ( my speakers suffer from voice coil heat up). I am intrigued.
Although I love audiophiles, I bet you people that say that it is not audiophiles NEVER EVER have listen to it. I bet it is very much so. Since audiophiles at this level CAN NOT be defined. Since every reproduction is an illusion. That can as a definition not be determent as is or is not. The prize is insane though, were do people get that kind of money............... In the end it is about how much more can you get out of the reproduction, without adding. Which is some kind of contradiction again.
Tbonyandsteak TRUE I AM AN STEREOPHILE BUT STILL I LIKE BOSE AND BANG&OLUFSEN EVEN THAT I OWN MANY TOHER BRANDS LIKE McINSTOSH BUT YOU ARE RIGHT ON TARGET YOUR COMMENT BEST COMMENT HERE!
I like BEO. I have a few products. But. at the end of the day, this brand has a strong house sound, which can viewed as having a wide appeal, but a purist/a true audiophile will rarely satisfied. More importantly, it just sound OK, not great, for the money. Honestly, I purchased for the design. At least for me, the sounds is just ok.
realy that you need 65kg aluminium?? or is it only arrogant wastefulness you can also take concrete for this kind of construction more efficent, less energy consumption
heard Kef Blade's from avshowroom online on youtube and they sounded awful. I heard many other speakers recorded by the same person with the same mic on avshowrooms(youtube) that sounded leaps and bounds better than the Blades. My listening gear are the AKG K712pro headphones with tube amp.
Jack of all master of NONE and this is not a audiophile company..It never will be however it does fill a gap for people who have no clue but slightly larger wallets than the norm
B&O sales nethod: pick a massive $ figure, come up with some sort of pseudo science to explain why it's so expensive, aim it squarely at rich women who don't listen to music and want something that won't clash with the modernist credenza in the fourth formal dining room and the bichons.
Ridiculous. I’ve heard these and they are no better (possibly worse) than my 35 year old Cerwin-Vega’s. Totally over-engineered, trying to fix a “problem” that can be cured simply by installing proper sound absorbing materials in your listening room. No “recording engineer” uses anything other than a simple pair of monitors. If you want to hear what they hear - use what they use. This is just more crap for people with more money than sense.
it cost only more then 100.000€/$ , for that money you get two perfect speaker for music also for cinema sound. if you telling you have not enough space for two speaker system then you be poor for this speaker too 😂😂😂😂
FlyBy Night nooo, it’s glorified Siegfried Linkwitz technology. They are using the rear speakers to create a cartioid polar response which is good but is much easier achieved with an open baffle. It seems that they’ve created a lot of problems because they weren’t willing to give up the closed box.
Holy moly! that is some serious engineering, incredible :O

in love with B&O

yeah, compared to Sonus Faber Largest, these are a Steal and all included
I truly love my Paradigm 7.1 setup....but if life is good to me... I'd certainly seriously yearn for those! They also look like works of art!!
B&O have always built incredible looking speakers.😏

I've never heard anything like this speaker, never!
Carsten L. Mikkelsen the best sound! Is B&O
me too. I've never heard anything like it.

Amazing finish and quality but 3:24 'the tweeter looks misaligned with the box finish.
?
Why can’t anything you produce be manufactured in Scandinavia?
Like Dali and Dynaudio.
yeah, for... 43975 EUROS !!! OMG !!!! and thats on ebay, retail is 57178 euros.... thats 70.000 to 80k dollars for the american ppl
Yeah no thanks b&o, i get back at them when i win the lottery
@@brotherrussia1719 With VAT or without؟
Not bad if you think about it that’s all the speaker you’ll ever need for generations probably
The amount of unnecessary bells and whistles in these is stunning.
And if you don't like the speaker you can always recycle it ♻️ 😂
We would have been to mars already if b&o was Buillding rocket.
Deixando meu like amigo bom dia!!!
All production offshored (despite high prices). And probably all profits in Luxembourg and Cyprus...
No sample audio though...
What do you mean..."no sample audio"
how would you even be able to hear it?...
William Su...9 dollar earbuds probably.
No audio test of the speaker dear...
I use Senny Momentum 2, and often play in PureDirect mode through my main system. Were you talking about your earbuds?
amazing engineering to solve a problem.... that doesn't exist!
why do you need to hear music that loud anyway. it’s bad for their ears.
Iv heard these at a mall on demo and personally i dont think they worth the price

I don’t think this is the best we can do with the resources contained therein
Why?
Great innovation...but you an most likely get a great speaker and acoustically treat the room for less money than these cost lol
Well, we prefer these than doing our whole livingroom haha
@@Beoyur Agreed. Who wants all that ugly hifi shit and wall panels in a beautiful home.
I’ve heard these. They do some things very well but some things really poorly. Poor mid range. Very little flesh. Not for me
Typical B&O - the Charlize Theron of audio equipment.
realy that you need 65kg aluminium?? or is it only arrogant wastefulness you can also take concrete for this kind of construction more efficent, less energy consumption
KEF Blade or Reference or the Muon for sure blow's this awful things in the to pieces !

That's nowhere near an accurate representation of what a speaker sounds like though :D
Linkwitz Orions any day
Illusion.
They full of shit and snake oil
Yes indeed.
And they still sound better than ANY other speaker. I have never heard a better one.

dan stuart
Go and listen to these loudspeakers. And then shut up.
Talkin' bullshit!!! Like mr. Cucumber says " go and listen to them" They are that price for a reason!
Those midrange drivers look like ScanSpeak Illuminator. Not the cheap paper cones you'd see In a Bose product.
No

and i don't need a sub?
Why would an audiophile want to listen to class D amplifiers?
Because ICE POWER Amps sound great
must say class d amps have come a long way, I listen to a pair of hypex ncore mono's with a class a buffer amp and is very transient
115k for speakers made in China. Hard pass!
glorified Bose "technology" using better quality scan speak drivers.

this has NOTHING to do with bose.
👎🏾
Bose ..............
spkprobe2 how? This is nothing like direct/reflecting technology.
You think Bose would use ScanSpeak Illuminators in its speakers? There's a reason audiophiles never hated B&O anywhere near the same level as Bose.
Those speakers must sound like NOTHING ON EARTH!!!
