@@brp400600 The Ford 460 only made a little over 300hp so it was a big heavy boat with not much power. The OMC outdrives are a nightmare. They're famous for blowing up and it's nearly impossible to find internal parts for them anymore. Most people end up having parts made as needed which isn't cheap. Many boat yards in my area won't even work on OMC stuff because of it.

Those boats are junk with that OMC/FORD power. The engine is a pig and you're screwed when that Cobra outdrive takes a dump and comes apart.

Have you had one? I have 89 205 v6 and it runs great had it for about 20 years never had a problem
