I cant afford to donate to enter. I know of omaze. If I could own that RV, oooo , road trip. Or, I'd turn it into a tiny house. One for me that's close to my parents.
Do be very careful about that last suggestion. It's very easy for it to go down the wrong pipe if they're too weak to swallow and tip their heads back properly, and that can kill them extremely quickly. It's much safer to dip their beaks in a shallow dish once they're warmed up and help them take the sip and make sure they can tip their heads back. I've lost some very delicate chicks that had almost recovered from near death because I tried to get them hydrated with some dropper Gatorade and rushed it. They might have died anyway, because their systems had been through a lot, but I don't think it helped.
The only thing hard to understand is when people are as stupid as these " farmers or homesteaders" are and improperly shelter young animals, as incidents and deaths ARE PREVENTED with proper sheltering and over all care.

Sure, that would be ideal. Have a heavy duty barn and storm shelter, but it all takes time and money to build and we have a lot of animals to shelter. We're always working on improving areas and shelters, we'll eventually get there.
My chickens would never stay in those fences because apparently their favorite activity is flying and I dont know why people say chickens cant fly they cant fly as large distant aces as other birds but THEY FLY
My chick was frozen stiff and the best way I've found that work best is to put your frozen chick in your car and put the heater on and leave a small clink window open a little to prevent Co2 poisoning them.. If it is hot inside the car already you could just leave them inside. after 1 hour later, viola the heat inside will revive them back up.

She chooses to stay here. We feed her, of course, but she’s “wild.”😉 Right now, at this very moment, she’s looking in the window at me while I’m sitting here having my coffee. 😂 🦃
We have turkey poults and shortly after getting them their eyes started closing. Breeder said he has had no problems. We have been treating them with pink eye antibiotics. Lost 3 out of 9 so far. Seeing some improvement. Never had this with chicks and goslings
I hope for their recovery ❤️
I'm just curious...don't you guys ever check the weather forcast for the day? I mean thats your livelihood. Atleast have the alertness in always be update on the weather coz any lost/harm on your farm due to weather is your fault and not nature.
It really came out of no where like they said lol.
They were having an outdoor cookout at the time, normally you don't schedule those on rainy days, at least that's what I have been told......
Probably shoulda brought them inside for the storm in the future if it happens again and u have week old chicks outside it's not a bad idea to have an emergency setup inside temporary until the hurricane is over
I know right! 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Sorry, storm hit us while we were outside. There was no time to react and bring all the birds in. We just had to take shelter.
@@whitehouseonthehill that's why u check local weather before the storm hits if it predicts its gonna be that bad, it would be wise to have a plan for the chicks before a storm hits in the future
@@PikaRaichupikapika 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 common sense I’m always checking the weather 😂
Hahahaha what a great video!!
Reminded me of when you brought a chick back to life whistling to it 🥰
You’re an amazing family!
We’re setting up our homestead and would love some hookbill ducks to help their population ☀️❤️
Good memory, thanks!
The turkey poults are amazingly sturdy and Isaiah is a little dare debil on the atv! Can’t wait for the new baby to arrive!!! Xoxo
I cant afford to donate to enter. I know of omaze.
If I could own that RV, oooo , road trip. Or, I'd turn it into a tiny house. One for me that's close to my parents.
What an amazing turn of events!!! Way to go guys 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you, Lindsey
Oh wow, they looked so dead. I’m glad you started to warm them up! I love your videos, they’re very fun to watch. I’m super happy they lived!
Thank you so much
I've had to deal with same situation.
Heat is the best and a little Gatorade dripped in their mouths with a syringe works great.
This is crazy!! That’s amazing that they are alive😁
Always life and death on the farm. That is a hard thing for folks to understand.
The only thing hard to understand is when people are as stupid as these " farmers or homesteaders" are and improperly shelter young animals, as incidents and deaths ARE PREVENTED with proper sheltering and over all care.
Hi...... White House on the Hill - Jake and Becky and nice to see your children to love watching your videos, thank you for showing your video homestead chicken Duck Goose farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🦃🐕🐈🐐🐝🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍
You should build a more secure place for them during storms
Sure, that would be ideal. Have a heavy duty barn and storm shelter, but it all takes time and money to build and we have a lot of animals to shelter. We're always working on improving areas and shelters, we'll eventually get there.
If this would happen again try putting a towel in the dryer get it warm. This would warm them a little faster.
My chickens would never stay in those fences because apparently their favorite activity is flying and I dont know why people say chickens cant fly they cant fly as large distant aces as other birds but THEY FLY
Your son needs to be more careful when winging that net at the chickens!!!! He's going to end up killing em.
I love your videos ❤️ I got so scared for those baby turkey🥺but luckily they are fine! I also bought March of you. I loved it I got the purple and blue tie dye merch. It was so pretty
Those poor babies! So thankful you were able to get them warmed up in time!!!
This video is doomed to be taken down. Nice content tho
Why didn't you check on them every few hrs, I would have put them in the barn.. Damn you're lucky!
You did great job with the turkies
I can use some of Ayam cimani eggs .. i wanna start my collection
When my grandfather told me baby turkeys would throw there heads back and die in a rainstorm I thought he was joking.
Grrr, signs up for Omaze account, email and all, goes to enter and it won't let me enter, says it can't find my registration. Attempt to create new account, says username is used. grrrrrrrrr
Does anyone know if a duck egg is fertilize if on day 3 there is a small circle developed in the centre that you can move when the egg is turned but has no veins it looks like a fertile spot of something growing but is hard to see if there are any vein could it be possible late early fertility??
Man, that sucks, stuff happens. Awww... At least they survived! Amazing decision making and reaction time. But rip the star wars named turkeys, at least ya can try again. Woah, that rooster was so scared getting caught it sounded like it was saying help a few times.😳'
I would have put them in the oven to heat them up
Please do a giveaway or sell eggs I want to get some ayam cemani eggs but they aren’t so cheap I want to buy eggs from someone trustworthy like u guys
This happens to me almost every year. I put them in HOT water, that gets their core temp up in minutes, than you can dry them. When a storm hits, shelter your poults and young chicks first!
We were getting hit pretty hard by the storm, had to get our gear put away and take shelter. As soon as it ended, I went around to check out on all of the animals.
I had the same thing happen to my 2 day old turkey poults and chicken chicks when I had them mailed several years ago. Brought right in to the hair drier. It worked sooooo well. Literally brought them back to life. So amazing. Our favorite chicken came from that batch; a very sweet light brahma. I'm glad all your poults are OK. Sorry about your peafowl! That's disappointing 😞
That’s awesome. I’d like to try to win or buy some. I’ll have to look for a good incubator too.
Uh oh stay safe guys
If something like this happens again, i recommend getting a few towels and put them in the dryer for a few minutes to heat them up. It should help with warming them up quicker.
I now how you feel I put my 12 chicks out for the day and I lost 2 polish and 1 silkie chick
