- In this video I unbox and take a first look at a new Miele G4203 dishwasher. A full demonstration and review will follow soon.
Although this Miele is not made in Germany, I am very pleased with the build quality and performance of this machine and is very good value for a Miele dishwasher.

I am desperate to find a way to cheer you up. It is so nice to see you excited as you were on holiday. Remember, as bad as it gets at least you don't have to worry about having Donald Trump as president. Not only he is awful but the orange spray tan and comb over make me want to vomit. I cannot imagine what his portrait would look like. I hear he loves gold. He would paint the White House gold and have all his tacky furniture moved into the White House. UGH
The White House needs a makeover, so bring on the gold paint and rhinestones I say.

It was on offer from Very.co.uk and I also got a further 15% discount. Miele's website prices are always high.
I love the cutlery tray. So much better design than the basket. I don't know of any dishwashers here that have that feature but I will be looking for it next time I am in the market for a new dishwasher.
I know Bosch also do models with a cutlery tray, but I don't know about any other brands you have in America.
We had or had Bosch. Very Posh here. Our appliances are years behind yours. Dishwashers don't have salt dispensers, if you are building the machine into your cabinets, it has no sides to back to it. Very basic. Even high end models are just not great. We have Kenmore, LG, Bosch, Frigidaire, KitchenAide, Whirlpool. I am sure there are more brands but cannot think of them. However, the Bosch machines I have seen are nothing like those you have access to. Everything is made to look nice but quality and function isn't really as important to the American public. Perhaps that is why Donald Trump is so popular....although he certainly does not look good.
I have municipal water and it is very hard. Many people have water softness but we haven't taken the plunge yet. My dishwasher is Kitcehaide along with my stove and microwave. Fridge is GE I believe.

Another fantastic video unboxing, thank you Roger! It's odd to me though as in the US, I've never heard of a dishwasher delivered wet inside (from testing). Oh and my dishwasher is 5 years old but looking at new ones (just for fun) a few brands included washing powder and jet dry samples. But like you mentioned those days are soon gone where free items are included. Also call me nutters but I wear disposable gloves to put all my dishes away.. Hygienic (no matter where I touch my cutlery) and no finger prints on the crystal! Lol
This machine has been built in the Czech Republic. I've bought a really good Miele lately, which even goes to the end of the rinse automatically.
How often do you have to clean the filter, or does it keep itself clean? Is it still holding up? Thanks!
I normally clean the filter about once a month. If you make sure you don’t put items with large food particles on them, the filter will stay cleaner. I still use this dishwasher and it works as it did when I bought it.

The AquaStop on the full hose is a god send!! They look bigger but all mine fitted a standard uk plumbing under the sink etc so hopefully you will be ok when it comes to installing your new Miele!! 😀
It did not fit my cold fill pipe due to its location, so I had to purchase a 1M extension hose that screwed onto the existing cold fill inlet and then into the Aquastop device.
Hi there it would be very informatibe to add another video on say the Miele G4303sc 4 years later how it is doing etc i recently bought o e of these machine s which are Czech Republic made andneould like to know how it is fairing 4 years later i am very happy with it so far. It is so quiet and usually always use it on the Eco wash setting.
I still have it and it works fine.

Hi, do you happen to know, does the hose have to be attached vertically with the brass piece facing upwards? If so I've some plumbing to do.
It doesn't matter what direction the brass piece is facing as long as you have the room to accommodate the large aqua stop device. I show this in the demo video which you'll find on my channel.
ibaisaic , I installed at the weekend, only had to change out the valve for an elbow type. all good.

Have the Pro version save lot energy when you put the machine direct tot the hotwater :)
New build house don't tend to fit a hot supply to the plumbing for dishwashers or washing machines as the majority are cold fill only nowadays. As I don't always have a tank full of hot water, I prefer to let the machine heat the water when it's needed.

Perhaps you can send me that window? My office does not have one and perhaps if I hang it on the wall, one will appear.
Just get a sledgehammer and knock a hole in the wall.
Problem is there is another office on the other side. And the wall is made of plaster and concrete. 1920's building. Ver study I must say. I tried to hang a painting on that wall and the nail would not go through. Nowadays, buildings are made of wood are cardboard.
That explains why the twin towers collapsed so easily, not to mention building 7 that collapsed in the same way yet wasn't even hit by a plane.

He doesn't seem to know himself as there is a question mark after his sentence. I don't care what other people think of the things I choose to spend my money on because it's my choice and my money. I am personally very happy with this dishwasher.
reason is the racks and the control panel but there integrated model are good but I like bosch.

I actually like Ikea furniture, two of my bedrooms are full of it.
Oh, I do too I just thought the joke was funny. They are building an ikea a few minutes from my house and I couldn't be more excited. I can spend days in their store. For my "therapy" chair at work I have the Poang (I am sure I misspelled that) black leather version. Best chair I have had for sitting hours at time listening to stories of how people are disappointed with their lousy American appliances.
I have two of those chairs myself but they are in storage at the moment as they had to make way for two other chairs that were inherited.
