Remember, the people who made a fortune during the gold rush were the ones selling shovels.
There were a few hidden spots they were making millionaires 3 brothers went and had so much gold after 2 days they would've been rich but they couldn't fit it in the boat and 2 of em died
@Dr1fty I forgot maybe pretty sure it was Canada or somewhere on Europe

Great, now I just need to drive 1400 miles to get to somewhere where there is a 0.000000000001% of chances of there being gold
Thats so true
There’s actually a lot more gold out there than you think
Nah bro if you drive 1400miles(ocean) then you have literally 40-50% chance of getting gold.... This chance is for river where you don't have to drive.....
And work for 6 hours just to find $5.44 worth of gold

If I remember correctly, theres a certain point where you have too much equipment and it’s considered like actual mining or something and you need a license or approval from the state
Depends on state. My state you just need to own the mineral rights yourself to use most large equipment.
@@DarkDomain0001 okay
yes in some states a license is required to use just the sleuce box
@@DarkDomain0001 deal
Chek local, state, and federal regulations. They vary by jurisdiction.
In most cases on BLM land (at least near me) you can use any hand tools and equipment powered by a 12v battery legally, any gasoline powered equipment is a no go and requires a mining permit and claim application.
Just remember depending on your state you sometimes have to get a license to use a sluce box

What type of charge u get or fine
Don’t need a license if they can’t find me
Didn't happen if no one cought me
Which y level should I go to? And is it possible I can find diamonds if I go low enough??
Best Go -58 and grab those dimands gold is rarely used maybe for enchanted apples
For gold you should go to badlands
@@ThanhHoang-xi4qk nah u trippin, diamond is useless once you hace mending. Gold is better for late game investment because you'll need all golden apple you can get, especially since we are all in a hardcore mode.
Generally the Y level doesn’t matter as long as you’re in the deepslate area, from there caving will net you the most diamonds per minute on average, and get you lots of other resources in the process
😐
Nah, I'll go craft a stone pickaxe and I'm good.
you need an iron one to mine gold

Most important thing is to live somewhere that gold is actually in the dirt
You can find it almost everywhere in the world lmao, easy ash my uncle does it makes some extra dough on the side
@Nefarious26 if gold was that common it wouldn't have any value, you live in a fantasy land if you think you can just go to some random dirt anywhere in the world and find gold
@@sin-23-04 it has value because people like yourself think it’s only found in Africa and America 💀
@@GangsterGru26 that's fool's gold lol ur uncle is scamming people
@sindristeinn40 Its just hard to get enough to make it worth it. You gotta work for hours to get a tiny pinch of gold dust
Gold panning was used to detect the presence of gold in soil, a prospector would dig out some soil on a riverside, pan it for gold, and if he was lucky find some specs. He would then dig either side until he narrowed down what area has gold and what doesn't, and then he'd funnel his way back from the river until he found the approximate location of a large gold deposit
I've honestly thought of doing this just for the hell of it in creeks. But I always keep forgetting about it
Then don't forget about it easy
Bro got adhd💀

Me watching this and making mental notes like I’m really gonna be a gold panner 🧐
The muddy waters are probably the best to find gold.
In some countries you cannot do this as the laws state this would be stealing from the nation's resources. Only a licensed person with ownership of the land could have the rights to sell the gold they find.
lmao how would they know, it’s not like I’ll be telling them 😂
@@banban22222 If you just hoard the gold, they won't, but if you start making a huge profit off it, the IRS will catch on real quick.
@Banxe they'll know because if you make any serious money out of it you'll have to report it as a source of income otherwise you'd be commiting tax fraud

Im going to do that for some fun, bc it looks like it is fun
Get plier and a magnet too, the pliers are for nuggets too big for the snuffer, and the magnet is really helpful for dealing with the black sand
Here in Germany it's illegal
So you need some criminal energy too 😂
I think its crazy that it is illegal to take up gold from your own land, yet the world leaders can send people to go take lives at an instant if they want to. All while not even being in the bloodshed they cause. Its illegal here in america too. Gotta have a license.....
Why is it illegal?

My grandfather actually has this as his hobby so at times he'll have me go down to help
Now the only thing I need is some patience 🙂
i got a river full of gold in my area, but idk if the profits would cover the cost of equipment
Just do it as a hobby at first.
You’re more likely to be successful in crystal mining and panning because even if it takes hours to find them it is worth it because you can get a good 15 dollars at the pawn shop 👍
@@shrekchrist2857 if you're doing it just for a measly 15$ at a pawn shop, then you're honestly sad.
@@drinkdeath it’s less likely to find very rare crystals but people love them but still doesn’t make them expensive but I do find quite a bunch of small opal and topaz stones which in a whole bunch profited $60
@@shrekchrist2857 if You want to make money, run an online business as I do. If you want to dig up gems, do it as a hobby.
I have a whole bunch of gold panning stuff, a billion pans, sifters, buckets, shovels, and even a sluice. I even found fold once!
I do a little panning on the weekends. I know I'll never get rich but it gets me out of the house.
You spend more on equipment than the profit you’ll turn out for finding gold. You make MORE money selling the equipment than all the people buying them in the gold they’d find.
I went panning for gold in the 4th grade. We got to keep the gold we found, it was pretty awesome but really cold out
Sure I’ll do it right away. Thanks RUclipsr!
Do you need a license to pan for gold?
Depends
Well i thought about it because i wanted to be a jeweller
I love doing this in stardew.
Good luck doing it here in the UK

Thanks for the tips
Damn that remind me of a game I used to watch about gold mining.
Good times.
Congrats on 69k subs
It looks satisfying 😂
I was told to do this to realize i was supposed to hunt for some gold when i thought i was searching for small rocks
Also, since they didn't add it, some places require documents like a mining licence for this, and of course you have to go where it's not private property and such. If you're really interested in it, do a thorough search of the laws in your area & state 👍
This guy just knows the basics, like the name of the equipment but I bet he has know idea where to find it.
Whenever a video about gold panning shows up i keep thinking about playing Hydroneer. It's been a while.
Maybe I need to start a shop for gold rush equipment
For anyone casting doubt, most rivers with rocks contain decent amounts of gold, and it’s a profitable hobby if you keep at it. Gold flakes pile up rather quickly
and a good back, that's hard work

I'm gonna go to the gold rush for my field trip
What's the best size pan?
I live in California so I should be able to find some nearby
The way things are going with the economy. I think our local creek is going to get a bit crowded this summer
This Shit looks fun as hell
Ik right
I really wish someone has it in them to help someone like me to get started with there old sluice box setup.
I live in Vermont right next to a river that has been here for ever knowing there is gold in Vermont.
If they're is someone out there that is willing to help set me up in the right place I would return as much as possible back to you.
Thank you to who ever is willing to help me get some where

Thank you
Bro I had to to a project on how to gold pan on Google slides and our group one this is the first thing that pops up😂
Mr Crabs aggressively takes notes💀💀💀
This reminds me of a game I played reasontly, it’s called gold rush, it is really realistic and I definitely recommend you check it out
Im already practicing my yeehaw
"As long as it has rifles" lol
plastic pans are better because they’re lighter and instead of a pickaxe get a yabby pump to help with gravels, also get a spade and always a classifier but before you start you need to study the way rivers flow and where gold lands and some rivers to pan in
I have sluice box and I've never used it before
No, but I've often thought about my Finnish immigrant great-grandfather Salamon panning for gold, up on his initial discovery claim on Bear Creek in the Yukon, back in the years of 1896 to 1905, and what it was like for my maternal grandmother to have been born there at his cabin, and raft down the Klondike as a young girl in those conditions.
I would recommend getting and iron pickaxe, they are the most cost efficient way of getting gold
Amazing
I learnt all of this in gold rush (the game)
Where I live there's a place nearby that's called house caverns and you can go panning for gold and keep the little bit of gold that you get. You can get a bunch of like cool rocks and two and there is also the herkman diamond mines. They are not real diamonds I believe. I believe they are just crystals and you can go and mine them with pickaxes and it's just those wall and I remember going and I remember I didn't do any of it. I just played in a puddle with a bunch of tadpoles
Make sure to mine in a messa or badlands biome as they have more gold
I could probably pan for gold. I don’t really need a pickaxes or anything, just something to pick up the gold and something to sift it and then something even smaller to take it from the water or ground. Me and my family go to lake Paris a lot and there seems to me a lot of little gold pieces in there. I have been trying to take out every single individual piece and have failed 💀 but this looks like it would help
To find gold all you need to do is go Y 8 and look for a cake or strip mine it's easier to find it in the lush caves or jagged peaks next to the emeralds
People thinking of minecraft when he said shovel and pickaxe 😂
👇
What if u use thread and the gold gets trapped there when water passes by
By the great horn spoon!!!
My mans playing Minecraft irl with that pickaxe 😂
No, you have to craft a pickaxe and sword and go to the cave and use the sword for the monsters like creepers, zombies, skeletons etc, and use the pickaxe for the gold, and you might find some other ore
This Minecraft ⛏️🌳
This is the old times we don't use that equipment, we put it in the dirt And make the pan go in circles🤠🤠🤠🤠
POV- you watched dr stone and this scene hits hard asf 😢
Reminds me of that episode in the Tom Sawyer cartoon 😮
Remember guys, with the same shovel and pickaxe setup, you can get yourselves a ton of gold.
I remember going to a gold mine and I tried doing this. I found 1 spec of gold after 2 hours
Don't you need a license depending on the state for the sluce box?
Mind that sluice boxes are often illegal!!
If you get the sluece box you need a gold mining liscence to use it

You need a license to use that fancy box at the end ❤ 👌🏼
Depends on the state. My state only requires permits for motorized equipment
I saw all this process in a game I played which is called gold rush
So if I know anything you need a sluicing licence but I don’t know much just please make sure your state(or region) requires a sluicing licence.
