My favorite tip using your words to be the most memorable and striking qualities versus your attire! It sounds obvious but sometimes we do stress more about what we wear than what we will say! 🗣
I am currently 3 days away from my second vet school interview, your advice has helped so much thank you! It got me hopeful for some acceptances in the future fingers crossed :)
Great video! I have my interview in 2 days(over telephone due to current circumstances) with Harper Adams University. Trying my best to balance my interview preparation with my assignment work for college:)
Hi! I have an interview next Tuesday and am looking at tips on how to prepare for it! This video is great! Thank you! I would love to ask you more questions about the interview process!
I'm worried my interviews next semester will be virtual. Kansas has already announced that they are doing this. can you give any insight on how this might go or give some tips on preparing that way?
Help! Please help I have tanked 2 interviews getting into vet school over zoom which I find zoom interviews total crap and very hard with pixel and lags.
Is it compulsory to have experience before joining to vet college?? I am still in school and I *love* pets and I want to become a veterinarian, but my parents are not allowing me to have a pet😭😭😭
No it’s not, I applied to vet school not having owned an animal until July of this year. Just getting in an animal hospital is best and getting that experience with a vet and becoming a well rounded applicant.
Like Ciara said you do not have to actually own an animal, but you do need to get experience at vet clinics or any other animal experience at a zoo, pet shop, animal shelter or even a farm if you can get one there. You should check the colleges you want to apply to because each one has a unique amount of work experience that they require you to have.
You definitely don’t need to own an animal but getting some experience is a good ideas . Try contacting a local practice and see if they’d let u shadow Good luck
I have my very first Vet school Interview this friday via zoom and this was extremely thankful!! Thank you so much
