- A very short monster analysis video today, but one that completes the final goblin video! Sorry about the reverb, I live in a cave.

Excellent. Now combine all 3 (bugbear, goblin, and hobgoblin) in an encounter!
Goblins still best of the three!
Bugbears could be hiding under your bed. 🤣

Absolutely love your channel. These videos are great.
Like, the text has the appropriate icons (you know if it's 1 or 2 actions etc), there are examples, visualization.
Thank you for encouraging more DMs to take prisoners and not kill PCs. A dead PCs is boring to play. Love these videos.
Ye, it should be posed as an option, which it is. However, if the PCs are getting caught *all the time* then it becomes clear really fast that the DM is getting out of his way to pull punches (which does not the definition of fun for many, including me). It's also worth poiting out that, at least from my anecdotal evidence, most players do not like losing at all and getting imprisoned can feel worse than dying (hence the countless acounts of TPKs when there's clear ways to not die).
If the only penalty a DM can come up with is 'killing all the main characters in the campaign I am running' there seems to be some kind of lack of imagination here. Losing doesn't mean dying, or else you could never fail. Nothing like having the campaign die because a monster wasn't balanced. To each there own. However, if all the DM can come up with is a TPK to end a session they are a terrible DM and I would not return to the table. I personally tell stories, if you need a chance of dying to casual fights to enjoy Pathfinder then my table wouldn't be a good fit. I'm here to tell epic tales about heroes who save the day.

Definitely agree.
Every other thing you said is nothing more than subjective views, which is to be expected when discussing TTRPGs. To each painter its own canvas. Your definition of "losing" isn't the same as mine. I do not enjoy stories in which the actual possibility of total failure doesn't exist, and I am also not aligned with the philosophy of handdling a TTRPG like writing a book (predetermining final outcomes, be they good or bad). So yes, I wouldn't want to be part of your table even if I got the chance. That's perfectly fine, you can feel the same way about me.
Love this content. It's so good for my games!
The public is hungry for more
I love all King Oogatonton videos!
