- Organizing my life, woman across the room style! lol a sophisticated lady if you will ;-) haha I got some organizing items and some fun things for the kids to put together and I thought I would share them with you so I suppose in a way this is kind of like a haul, and also me using the items that I got! So I hope you enjoyed the organizing motivation around the house style! I am happy with the way things worked out! Hi! Maybe you could pack one of those blanket boxes with the favorite blankets for the kids and put the whole box upstairs in the movie room so the kids won’t pull them all down to find the ones they want. Love the sophisticated lady organizing!

For the blankets, you should have one of them bags under each of their bed with their own blankets/bedding in! Then you also have extra room in the cupboard too.
I do this and keep extra sheets in them

I’m glad you continued filming even though you were having a rough day. That’s real life.
Put extra sheets and blankets in the kids closets. Each bedroom can house an extra set of everything. If the closet is full, get an under the bed storage container.
My mind immediately went to how nice those cup holders would be on a cruise for a family! Just pop the cups on the wall and no worries about the limited table top space!

Less of a fan of those organizing accounts to be honest. I feel like it’s just to get us to click on all their links so we buy more. I use the pillowcase to store my sheet set in and it works great!

Good Morning Kim, and to all who gather to watch our sophisticated lady. I spent 8 days in the hospital. There WIFI really sucked. I sure am happy to be back home watching from my own TV. I just recently got the lid organizer for all of our cup lids. It works great. That can organizer looks great. It sure looks better than having to stack them. My 44 yr old daughter still has her baby blanket. When she was 18 she had to have surgery and she took it to tge hospital with her. Every sumner when she travelled for her wirk from age 21- 33 yrs of age she hauled it along Thank you for showing us all the great ideas. ❤❤❤
Hope you’re feeling much better. That’s a long hospital stay. I have 4 sons 2 in their early 40’s and 2 in their late 30’s. They all still have their teddy bears my Dad gave them at birth. ♥️ One still has his baby blanket too.

I use to be so unorganized it drove me insane trying to find something lol . One day I took one room at a time , organized each room completely , cleaning things as I went , then I tackled the hall closet ,and washroom , throwing away everything not in use or just didn't need .or put in shed out back .. Now everyday I organize as putting toys away , laundry ,books , dishes , etc . Surprisingly my house is more airy ,breathable , however my hubs shed out back looks like a cyclone has hit it 😂😂😂
Just watched High School Musical on a bus full of teenagers coming home from camp yesterday afternoon and let me tell you they were watching, laughing and singing the whole time! A smash hit!

I really like those blanket storage things. I would use them under my bed. I really like the clear panel that allows you to see the items inside. Good buy!

Hi Kim. If you donate blankets, give them to animal rescue groups . The pets can use them to stay off the cold ground/cement.
i sorted my airing cupboard and donated all the spare sheets and bedding to a dog shelter they were really grateful xx

I also had a large family and when I was at your stage in life sophisticated was nowhere near what I was I was lucky if I got to shower and comb my hair and I don’t think I ever had a piece of clothing without spit up baby food or sticky fingerprints on it for at least five years. Ha ha ha but my children are all grown now and I actually have two grandsons. However I did learn a few things along the way . when my kids were young, we got each of them a cedar chest that we kept at the foot of their bed and we put their keepsakes like baby blankets, special artwork things like that in them.
When the time came for them to move out, they took it with them. As each child has left the nest we have all gotten together and gone through the cedar chest and had a great time.
I’m a minimalist and have ocd this has got to be one of my favorite videos ever. I love everything about getting organized. All those blankets made me laugh. I have one extra sheet set for each bed and only 2 towels for each person in the house. It works for us but I know that wouldn’t work for everyone.

I saw a cute idea of turning all the sentimental fabric one owns into a quilt. For instance, when my son is older, all his hockey jerseys will be made into a quilt. If I get my life together, lol.

Just a note, if you leave a diffusser uunattended and it runs out of water it can overheat & catch fire, as any appliance type. Such a pretty mantel you designed.

You can get nice wooden storage boxes for oils - a place in them for each individual oil.
I love the organizer for the cans.
I fold my sheets and put them in a pillow case keeps them neat and contained. Also I keep the extra set of sheets in a drawer in the bedroom they are for I have my favorite sheets so I make sure their in the drawer in my bedroom
One of my favorite songs by John Lennon is Beautiful Boy. I used to sing it to my nephews when they were little. Love you office!

Different idea for tablecloths:
I got a couple of those multi pants hangers. Heavy duty... intended for jeans and khakis, you know? Each hanger looks sorta like a ladder. They fold up and down for space saving. Can hold 6 items. My tablecloths are 108-120 inches. I folded them into long rectangles, and laid them over each hanger rung.
Although my cloths are relatively large, they don't drag the floor when the multi hanger is folded down into its space saving position. Plus, because they aren't stacked on each other, the creases from being folded are nowhere near as harsh.

Yes I so feel the way about sheets they take up sooo much space from the bed to the washer and dryer then back on the bed it works for me!❤
I keep two layers on my bed waterproof mattress pad then sheet another waterproof pad and another sheet. That way I don’t have to store them. Also very helpful if have accidents at night so you have a clean layer to get back into

When it comes to anything that requires a lid, we have a rule that it doesn't get put away without the lid. I never have to search for anything. Water bottles, tupperware, etc. When emptying the dishwasher, lid things get set aside for last, then just assemble and put away. one minute task to save so much frustration.

the gray bags you got to store your blankets, I have the same ones. I use mine to store extra sheets and there is one under each bed. easy to pull out to put new sheets on while washing the other ones!

We have three sets of sheets. I got rid of two. Trouble storing them on the high shelf. Totally got the tumbling pile of blankets! It was fun to see your finds. I have wondered about a can container. I didn't mind a bit you having a day. It felt stressful, but we don't mind seeing that in your videos. It's relatable.

I immediately went to amazon and ordered a diffuser (I am 60 years old and have never had one) I ordered a couple of the essential oils and I ordered 2 sets of the blanket storage containers, I also paused you and got my linen closet organized. As a sophisticated lady the sheet boxes Amazon sells are great. I ordered 4 of them and now I can see what sheets I have. They are easy to use. Bottom sheets are a pain to fold but these make it a snap! Thanks for sharing your sophisticated lady videos 😂
Sheet sets can be organized by using the pillowcase as the package.
