Jason Kidd Always Hated Jordan For This | @AllTheSmokeProductions

  • Jason Kidd tells a story about the first time he played Michael Jordan when Jason was a rookie. Jordan drove the ball on Kidd and all Kidd was thinking about was how to avoid ending up on a poster. Jordan did a reverse layup instead of a dunk but let Kidd know that he was just toying with him.

      My Grandfather got to watch a lot of great players including Jordan being from Chicago. We're bulls fans but he said until the day he died wilt Chamberlain was the greatest athlete and basketball player he ever saw. 515 conservative games averaging at least 40ppg. No one else has more than 33. 5 70 plus point games. 229 40 point 20 rebound games for perspective Kareem has 11 Shaq has 4. Has lead the league in points rebounds blocks and even assists one season. Averaged over 48 minutes per game one season. Ran the 400 meter high jump and long jump in college. No center or even power forward could be competitive in 400 meter in college today. Also in the volleyball Hof. Worked out with Arnold and other Mr. Universe contestants . Was still offered NBA contracts at 43

      Did you really just say he didn't form superteams..................and you're calling me a clown lol. Boston did the job of putting a team together just like the Bulls, Celtics, and Lakers their front offices did their jobs and did them well. Your hero on the other hand colluded to form them. D'Wade already admitted in an interview after Kobe won his 2nd back to back title in 09-10 season that your "goat" called D'Wade and said they needed to "do something" to get rings lololololol. That is called colluding to form a superteam whereas the other teams mentioned just had front offices that did great jobs and putting together teams the players had nothing to do with it. Your pathetic "goat" had far more help in his career than Jordan ever had and could only get 4, and if it wasnt for Ray Allen hitting the game winner in game 6 (after your "goats" miss of course) they lose that series, and if it wasn't for Kyrie hitting the clutchest 3 in finals history he loses that one against the Warriors lol.

      @@JROCK50054 The NBA used to be more than just playoff basketball. All the players played entire seasons, unless they had a severe injury that sidelined them. Now teams rest their players and try to prepare for the playoffs on the first day. When Jordan played, he played every night, so did the rest of the league. He was doing amazing things during regular season games. I'm a Tarheel fan. Grew up in NC, will probably die here and I've been watching ACC games since the late 70s and have been to Chapel Hill on many occasions. Most people wouldn't understand that the '82 championship team wasn't Michael's team, but when he was on the floor during the regular season he always did something amazing. Of course I kept following him in the pros. When everyone was still focused on the Celtics and Lakers I was wearing my Chicago Bulls gear. I always said you just wait when people wondered. Most people only watch teams who are winning and in the playoffs. They don't understand the game and don't see that there are many talented players who are fun to watch on teams that are losing. I watch them all.

    It’s the admiration that MJs peers (especially the hall of famers) have for MJs game and impact that really separates MJ from the pack. Kobe’s peers did as well which is why I would disagree but wouldn’t be mad at someone saying Kobe is the best ever. These gents first hand experienced the greatness in real time.

      I've been a die hard MJ is the goat guy for a very specific reason. That being MJ always played both side of the ball and lebron quit playing def the extend his career. But recently I have decided there is no overall goat, but rather a best of each generation. This is because it isn't fair to compare different generations due to advances in training and recovery. So whoever it is for you is the goat of their generation. Obviously the 80's is either bird or magic, 90's MJ, 2000's kobe, 2010's lebron. Just just hope I see it now

      @@dr.lesbarrett921 As to other sports, Bo Jackson was all-star level in the NFL and Major League Baseball. So was Deion Sanders, who could play both offense and defense in the NFL, with his top 1% speed. (He chased down Darrell Green from behind!) Jackson had the fastest 40 yard time ever.
      In his athletic prime (after his first NBA retirement), Jordan failed at AA baseball (not even the top minor league the AAA, let alone in MLB).
      Wilt was a track star, winning the Big 10 conference championship several times in the high jump. He had his state prep record for the shot put. He was ridiculously fast, and stronger than just about anyone. As a rookie, he won the MVP, and set point and rebound records that would still be the record to this very day (except he alone beat them in several later seasons).

      @phillipschuman4307
      Blah blah blah! You really used an athlete from another sport to try to diminish MJ? Really? We're talking basketball,, and as for your Wilt comment, despite his greatness, his game wasn't nearly as complete or polished as MJ's, and I was a HUGE Wilt fan, but facts are facts. The truth is that we haven't seen another player with the combination of swag, athleticism, speed, skill, and will as MJ. That's not me saying it. It's documented! Those are the stats that LeBronites don't want to talk about, but those stats are why MJ won an award that none of those athletes you mentioned, not LBJ, nor anyone else will, and that is...
      THE WORLD'S FAVORITE ATHLETE!
      That's yet another achievement of MJ's that LBJ won't duplicate, no matter how much whining, manipulation, and historical revisionism by Klutch Sports, the Nick Wrights, and all the other minion LeBronites, actual or de facto, who continually try to insult the intelligence of fans around the world with challenges that would put the lawyers against the late George Floyd to shame!
      NOTE: I guess LeBronites can brag that MJ never won an In-Season Tournament. They love bragging about achievements that are less prestigious!
      So, if you and a handful of other delusional fans of LBJ dislike MJ, that's YOUR issue because the world has spoken, and after all this time and this ridiculous GOAT Debate, LBJ can't overcome MJ for the majority of fans, INCLUDING THE YOUNGER NBA FANS! Why? Because people have brains! Therefore, not only are people showing disdain for the "stats approach" for being the GOAT, but more and more people every day are starting to rank LBJ lower and lower as they grow tired of his antics!
      "This stuff should be easy to see, but that ain't how delusion works! - Anonymous person in history.

Kidd was relieved but still...When MJ took off , Kidd hoped he won't dunk on him and MJ didn't...Jordan then reminded him:" I told u I wont embarass u" ...He didn't think back then " he is an a..hole" He said to himself "Oh thanks he didn't dunk it"...Kidd is getting old😅
