    I really enjoy your videos, Oliver! I am German, but I like to explore my own country from your Canadian point of view and realize the heritage we have, which we as locals often just pass by too easily without appreciating its value. So thank you and keep it up!!!

      I love to hear this! So glad I'm able to add that perspective. One of my biggest fears is to accidently misguide people about different places and annoy locals so I'm relieved that you don't feel that way. Thank you:)

      @@OliverPriemer Don't worry about it! I think your videos are less about the correct dates, e.g. when a church was built (although I appreciate that you gather those information 👍), it's more about your excitement and your enthusiasm, when you discover new places and share some spectacular viewpoints. I also liked your train ride along the Rhine River to Luxembourg. A route that is very familiar to me. Just because of you being fascinated by the landscape ;-)

      @@arip9188 Yes! That's exactly what I hope for when I make these videos. To know that what I'm doing actually has an impact and a purpose of some kind is absolutely necessary, and there is nothing that makes me happier than hearing this from you. And lucky you for having that as a regular commute😂

    Cyril, Daman and I sat together in Luxembourg to watch this excellent intro to Heidelberg. Fine job! (Me...MJ) Cyril says: "Good energy and good selection of scenes. Convincingly presented and the three of us enjoyed it. For me, personally, a bit down memory lane." Daman says: "Very tactically and skillfully executed with a great animated host. It is not easy to land in unfamiliar territory and bring together such a great ensemble of adventure, storytelling and scenic b-roll in just 5 hours. This is your best video yet and so look forward to more."

      I may as well print this out and stick it to my bedroom wall. In fact, I think I may do that. Love you all, so much. And thank you!

    Excellent, Oliver. Even in poor weather Heidelberg looks wonderful and your joy at discovering it is palpable. I went to one of the earliest recitals on the organ in the Holy Spirit Church when it was inaugurated and it was great to be reminded of it. Really good editing and a good music track. 👍👍

      Where haven’t you been?? Thank you so much, as always. I put so much time into preparing this video there’s no better thing I can receive than feedback. Heidelberg must be so beautiful in late spring and summer, even fall. This was filmed in late December, which isn’t a surprise…

    Crazy memories as if it wasn't even me. Had mane Abi Fete in Schloss but not my own, like an open chapter of my life that never closed

    Hey, whats cheapest way to reach here from Frankfurt airport?

    • @OliverPriemer
      @OliverPriemer  Год назад

      Frankfurt to Heidelberg is a popular train route. I imagine that's the best way to do it. Otherwise there should be a flixbus, which is typically cheapest but won't be as fast or have as many departures.

    In Deutschland, hat man schon immer Deutsch gesprochen, und Buecher auf Deutsch geschrieben. Ich muss nicht Englisch lernen, wenn ich nach Deutschland fahre oder zu Gast bin, sondern Deutsch.
