The sound his shield make sounds like hitting an upside down pot with a stick. It's oddly satisfying
Yeah that sound is making me want to purchase the skin
I'm not a fan of the cosmetic package or the skin, but the sound is *really* nice. It's very distinctive and clear, compared to the normal shield strikes. It makes it much easier to identify the moment that animation cancel would be effective.

The IQ is insane. At 11:07 the invisible woman disappears and he just tosses out the shield to find her and chase her down. Seems so obvious now but I just have never thought to do it.
Check out his how to play cap guide. This works on all invisible characters (Invis woman, Loki, Psylocke).

My favourite trick. I just wish it worked as well on Psylocke. Bugs me that she only blinks out of invisibility for a fraction of a second when you tag her.
I did that in my last match (which I even got MVP in) and still had some shield throws in me, so I got her in an all-ranged combo a split-second before she could get to a health pack (right after I knocked a Strange out, too). Cap may not like bullies, but playing as him sometimes feels like being one.
What’s funnier is when you knock someone out of invisibility and they didn’t know you could do that, themselves, so it takes them a second to even react.

As a cap main and a new-made lord (finished lord literally yesterday or two days before) - I pay huge respect to anyone who play cap, because it's such a fun tank. Justice for cap, this character deserves better attitude and reputations towards self.

To be fair his ultimate is just straight up bad, it has nothing going for it and in a game where most ultimates can decide the match it’s not great for one of them to be terrible.
@@Coblit3His ult makes him near unkillable but they should buff the trail he leaves behind that’s supposed to heal teammates and give it a wider field

Every night before I go to bed I PRAY for a beat up masked cap america skin with Mjolnir where his ranged primary would be him throwing it as well as his hammer slam then his E and F is still the shield. His ult will be raising the shield but with thunder 😩

Ive started playing cap recently. Played 10 games in a row with him and only lost 1 which was against a cheater. Have a friend who plays thor and we usually go 1 round without dying. Most games have the enemies swap to a thor and cap teamup after the first round because of what we do. 5 points away from plat 3 for my first season of competitive
THEY REALLY need to nerf C&D ulti generation. I was in a game where she ult, I died in that team fight, spawned after 10-12 seconds and she immediately ultiy again. It's absurd.
it makes no sense to me how adam has 5k ult charge cost and c&d only has 3400, they need to take an axe to defensive ults, make them shorter and increase their cost

Their Ult isn't good enough for that to be busted. If they stack it then it has a small range, and if they don't then it's easy to kill through. I play through it all the time.

Awesome game dude! That Gwenlover1785 guy and cookielover433 switching was the turning point of this game. On Spiderman & Strange they were goin 7/16 & 6/7 (9:06) respectively then they switched to Strange & Psylocke bringing it back to 34/21 & 37/10 by the end of the game. I reckon your team had slightly weaker supports overall which put more pressure on DPS & tanks to perform.

Yep, I honestly put a lot of the blame on the supports, we all saw that terrible C&D ult which could've been used to prevent a push from the enemy team. I think people are quick to give tanks and dps players a lot of shit but never the supports, it's ok to admit that some support players just suck or they didn't do their job well.

I know this is a controversial take but comps like this are why black widow exist. Forcing the iron man to fall back or killing him is necessary to push their line and dr strange can’t easily protect him.
The sound effect of his melees and shield throw on this skin are so satisfying
i love the different reactions to the skin, people are very split. I love the sound effects, theyre super satisfying, especially the throw. just wish he had a hat on and a unique design for his shield

@@DrellKing Cloak&Dagger has it the worst, you get it faster than others and they gave it an extra charge for some reason.
@@DrellKing not every strategist, Adam Warlock has a massive ult cost of 5000K and it's not as easy to charge since you need decent-good aim to be able to charge it consistely.
You should do a tutorial on how to chase down with animation cancels. It seems so easy but it's hard to learn!
Best tip is to not spam click and hold it when throwing your shield

That's exactly what it sounds like.
After each hit sound on cap you can use run to cancel the attack and then attack again for much faster attack speed essentially run cancelling animation to get to the next hit faster, takes practice but once you master it you will be a much greater cap for it
You can see he also does it in the video so incase anyone was wondering what that was

if there was a thing you would add or change to cap what would you add?
My only thing I would change is a small damage boost on his base damage and shield bash. I don’t know if it’s a skill issue but, these healers are able to do a crazy amount of healing. And CAPS damage output feels just a little lacking. “unless they nerf the healing output to certain hero’s.”
Other than that, I think he’s fine mainly due to the fact caps survivability is insane.
His actually mid air dive being a separate button from his melee
Adding self healing/over healing to his ranged primary fire when he has the temporary shield throws enabled
Not a main, but like the character and I think that would be cool if he had it
And give him a self cleanse so he can immediately come out of a cc inflicted to him
How about QOL changes instead? Like reducing the slams cooldown to 10 secs, increasing the dmg on the slam and dash to 35 to clear the dmg threshold on 250 targets, so you can go slam-2 punches-3 throws to clear them, and a slight increase to his jump height to clear out some annoying ledges(charteris base high ground)
…and I forgot, remove the cooldown altogether when he raises and lowers his shield

You single-handedly got me to want to main cap. I made an alt account to play with some of my bronze/silver level friends as my main is at Diamond 1. So far have won 17 of 22 games one tricking cap in ranked on my alt. He’s gonna be my main on my main account too. He’s so much fun once you learn how to use him properly
The shield sound is hilarious but love how much of a gigachad Chris Evans stylised looks. Personally wouldn't mind the shield from the regular skins with this one instead, but I wonder if they buff any parts of Captain more? Like maybe buzz saw? What is the highest kills you got with one buzz saw? I was dead pleased when I lobbed the buzz saw ability and KO'd two, but it super rares it seems, so I wonder if they could buff the buzz saw ability damage.

Why does the sound effects of this skin sounds like a Chinese wooden toy. It’s so goofy and not fitting at all. It sounds nothing like when Cap was hitting those space dogs in the movie.

I’m convinced that the game matches me up with the worst people imaginable in ranked on purpose. I had a teammate named “GodsRighteousM” no joke and went into the chat from the start and said “I could do this all day”. He went 6-13 and we LOST. At the end of the game he went into the chat again and said “I could do this all day” and “My teammates are trash” when we all went positive and he was the only one who went negative and our healers had over 25k healing. I’ve never been so made in my life.

I was really thinking about getting this skin, thank god I saw your video first. The skin is beautiful don't get me wrong, but my main concerns are the shield sound effect feeling too cheap (No way you expect me to believe that we are hitting the enemy with a heavy vibranium object with this high pitch sound), and the lack of detail on his back that you know, we will be staring at most in the game.
The solution for the sound effect is simple, redo it, or give us an option to choose the shield sound.
