if cap gets a buff he’ll probably be meta, and there’s a good chance they give him a buff. he would probably start getting used for invincible ult rotations alongside mantis, invisible woman, and luna snow
@@SpawnofOlympus - they gave him 25 more health, shortened his shield cooldown by a second, and he got 2 seconds shaved off one of his cooldowns. So now he does 30 damage on a 10 second cooldown instead of a 20 second one. XD They reduced his health regeneration while ulting. It helped him survive a bit more, but he still struggles to have a solid impact because the damage numbers just aren't there. In general, the Vanguards have their damage tuned lower than other roles, to a point where they can struggle to create impact in comparison, but it's particularly notable with Cap and Thor. Thor's the better off of the two, but that may change if/when they strip back the seasonal bonuses.
Same, I didnt really care for cap at the start, but i needed a tank to play, and while mag and strange are fun in their own way, they are too slow for my taste and there isnt THAT much room for skill expression, i tried hulk cuz the teamup was OP, but didnt stick with him, while the skill expression IS THERE, he FEELS clunky, I know he isnt bad, but he FEELS bad to play(TO ME) compared to other heroes. But Steve's the Goat good teamplay with ulti, skill expression with the animation cacels and shield parry, fluid mobility, being able to cancel anything into everything feels so nice, the damage is good FOR A TANK, Idk why people want cap to be the new magik and ask for dmg buffs. The ONLY things I would like to see is being able to jump with your shield up and have the option to keep using the melee part of his attack even if he has the shield charged. Other then that he's the most fun tank i've ever played in a hero shooter. (I would say Doomfist from OW is a close second but he is and forever will be a dps in my heart, I will NEVER forgive blizzard for what they did to my boy)
I feel like you're playing differently than in your other videos. Much more focused on backline and not taking the tank duels as much imo and also started to take health packs lol. Is it cuz you got a strange to hold cart or are you genuinely changing how you play cap?
you're my role model, I may not have the mechanics but I am currently fighting my way through diamond with this hero. But I am not good enough to OTP him above plat it feels like, got some good alternatives that I could try if Cap is not an option?
Im in the same boat... In plat right now, I can feel my effectiveness as cap getting less since backline supports are getting smarter & can strafe around u better. Im unable to pressure them enough or kill fast enough cuz I'm still dogshit as shield throw animation cancels. I honestly think getting it down is going to make a huge difference in maining this guy in higher ranks.

What do you make of games like this? I’m way lower in Dia 2 but fairly often there’s just a stomp and it feels like one the teams didn’t stand a chance from the load screen.
I don't know how anyone can think Cap is bad. He has amazing mobility, speed, a shield, a good team Ult, can fight at any distance, has good health, and damage. But I guess that just means it will make playing him better for Cap mains once he gets buffs.
I really want to play and learn cap but trying to do the animation cancel on console is so aids and inconsistent when your targets doing anything but standing still

When strangers gauge reaches 100 he can R1 and split a smaller enemies health in half or damn right kill them with one tap
