- As Arizona grows there will be more infrastructure projects creating state roadways. Arizona Game and Fish biologists and road ecologists
have been working with the Arizona Department of Transportation and other agencies across the country, advising them on how to build wildlife crossing structures.
As you'll see, the wildlife crossings have the potential to make roads safer by reducing wildlife-vehicle collisions and maintaining landscape connectivity for wildlife. - Животные
These animal crossings are so wonderful. Saving wildlife and making travel safer for people.
Great job ❤
Need more of these across the country 👏
This was really an interesting article. I've seen the damage caused from Deer running into cars. Not a pretty sight. Someone with a big heart and a plan has saved countless lives, both human and animals.
God bless ❤❤animals need this. We need this! Now ❤️❤️❤️
Call Washington State transportation and wildlife departments, they've done an excellent job.
I love the overpasses because the animals can feel safe in crossing them because they can SEE. I hope I'm correct that they are cheaper to build because they only need to handle the weight of a few animals and not the weight of several tractor/trailer rigs. The overpasses that I've seen seem to be over-built. Are they built with that lesser "load need" in mind?
Great work.
USFS too
so sad ..I am so glad they have been collaborating together to create animal crossings to protect animals and people from collisions
Now, this is taxpayer money well spent!!!
Human collisions hopefully a thing of the past with spacious land bridges for wildlife.
Animals cause accidents? It seems more that it humans vehicles that cause these accidents. We build highways across their habitat and then blame them for our accidents.
