Its too bad the daughter sided with the mother. Its not uncommon for the wife to weaponize the kids against their fathers. It happened to my dad and his ex-wife. She fooled him into thinking her daughter was his. After she started dating a new guy, my "half-sister" even wanted to ditch her last name for the new guy's last name. My dad finally got a DNA test and learned she wasn't even daughter. I do not consider her family. The girl grew up into a salty angry Karen.
Yeah, but I think he should have fought for the parental right for his daughter. If he is rich, he could have had a chance to get full custody, especially if he had shown that she was a gold digger. His wife would probably have been happy to dump the child on him since it would mean it would be easier for her to get a new man and since she wouldn't have to spend money on the kid.

If someone uses divorce as a threat the relationship is over. But it also depends on the circumstances. Like if you have kids and one partner is an alcoholic who doesn’t want to get help
It depends on the reason. If you're threatening a divorce for major infractions (like alcoholism, or doing reckless things that threaten the household), thats one thing. However, using it as a blackmail tactic (As Ryo's wife did), is unforgivable. She used it to extort money out of him. In his case, the price kept going higher. In cases like that, you either agree to the divorce, or issue a counter threat. 'Wave those papers in my face again, and I will sign them.' Divorce is not to be used for trivial issues. Women like her belong on the street.

The daughter is still young and her hating his guts is likely not only from mom but because he let it happen, he is an adult for crying out loud, SHE IS A CHILD, BARELY EVEN 10. That's called neglect, the true victim of this story is the child.

The order of the images makes it look like it. It's because they wanted to show that. "Wow, I found the rich one" then, face reveal, and after that, "oh, I sold the watch". It's typical that things happen, and then they show a scene like that to make the people sure of what's happening. Plus, the "fake" one said he had a girlfriend, Koji would've said "could this be? THE GIRL OF MY DREEEEAMS?!?!?!" or something like that 😂

Additional :her daughter became subject of bullying and begin depressed start unattended class, erica didn't even bother to help her both her relationship with her mother became worst by day and day until erica lock her up outside the house at the night. The scene later on was seen by neighbour and the neighbours call child protective service. Erica runaway from the house since she being kick out by neighbour

If this did happen to you hypothetically then despite the heartbreak you may need to try understand why your child thinks so. Children are influenced by those around them so if a kid says something then it's either an influence from the other parents, schoolmates and friends or relatives. In a light note the kid may just be echoing wat they heard from said influences but if the child truly holds on to this thought deeply then there is a high chance that the child thinks so because it is something affecting them negatively

Thinking what she could do she started going on walks to clear her mind from everything since everyone in class found out about her mom, but one day she saw someone from school in the same neighborhood, at first she thought he was gonna mock him but instead he gave her words of encouragement and telling her it’s not too late and since that day she’s working hard in order to not become like her mother and hopefully when’s she’s ready to gather the courage to apologize to her father and to thank the boy in her class.

Kids change multiple times before they reach adulthood, and this kid is barely even 10yrs old so the only way that the kid would really grow to be like her mom is in only very specific circumstamces. You saw a superficial kid but all i saw was a child trying her best to suck up to the only parent who gave her the attention she needed.

I usually feel bad for the kid in these stories where they side with the antagonist. It's because of their influence that they're that way. Hopefully, the daughter will apologize to her dad when she grows up and learns from the mistakes of her mom.
She shouldn’t need to, why is she being relegated to a fate with her mom? Where is the legal process? Where is the father’s responsibility to raise his child? I don’t understand at all. There's nothing wrong in wanting to have a lavish lifestyle, but sometimes in life there has to be limits and being realistic. She should have been grateful that her ex husband gave her a free salary not many housewives ever had, $1.5k for herself is still quite a lot and there's a lot of things she could do with that money. But being a greedy and ungrateful wife, she wanted more, even to the point of divorcing her husband because he couldn't meet her "needs".
