    I found this so relaxing to watch last night, I know it's an older one.....but as soon as I log in RUclips knows who I want to see and it's non-discriminatory as to the dates but I'm good with that. There are so many helpful hints in all of your videos and I'm always looking for my pen and tablet to write them down. I watched a few others as well but don't want to take up your time with comments on videos you may not recall. They were all wonderful and instructional.

    Yay! It's Karen! I have missed your beautiful voice! I am so excited that you posted a video and it has a recipe attached....BONUS! Thank you for the instructional video. I am going to try your recipe with my niece this week. We won't be making 3 batches like you! We will just make a few to try them out and see if we can recreate your perfection! Yours are beautiful with those wafer flowers in them! Thanks for sharing with us. Toodles for now! 👋

    Just Beautiful there is a company called Muddy soaps that has a Electra Press thats a good price and it just plugs in no compressor needed I'm really thinking on getting one sure would make it a quick easy job to do large amounts. I use 91% Alcohol and let sit unmolded nearly 2 days with dehumidifier depending on weather. Shrink wrap also Been viewing your videos for years always impressive Happy Soaping

    I only use one mold over and over for the making of my bath bombs. I find with stainless Steel you don't have to let them sit before un molding .

    Hi your one of my inspiration when it comes some of my craft stuff I make, keep up the good work. You can tell me off if you want but a cheeky question but where you buy your mica and fragrance oil and large moulds from. Beautiful as always! I make some with eucalyptus eo and within 3 days the scent was gone! Do you find that the scents fade more with eo vs fo? I can't afford to keep waisting my ingredients on batches that I can't sell. Or maybe do you think I am not wrapping them soon enough? I would love any advice!!!!

    • @marykrafts4607
      @marykrafts4607 7 лет назад

      Do you add kaolin clay? it helps bind the oils I wrap by day 2 it takes that long here to get really hard. It's always adjusting to humidity I also have a room dehumidifier and use 91% Alcohol but its dif for everyone I let mine sit on towel over muffin molds I've even seen on plastic wrap and foam what ever works, can't let sit in molds

    • @sillageartisansoap4196
      @sillageartisansoap4196 7 лет назад

      Mary Kat no i didn't think of that. I do use it in my soaps to help anchor. I will give that a try. I just have bad luck with eo. For some reason they don't stick in anything I make. They are so expensive to not be able to smell in the end.

    • @EdensSecret1
      @EdensSecret1  7 лет назад +1

      Yes, I do find Eo's fade more, but as with everything, it depends which EO you are using. If you do wrap them sooner, they will keep the scent better

  • @CorenaGaroutte

    Or use polysorbate 80 for Micas not stain/cling to tube.

    • @brandynettleton1658
      @brandynettleton1658 7 лет назад

      Corena Garoutte, there's Poly in her recipe above. With a ton of mica, it can still stick.

    • @cynthiabrooks2098

      What do you use for colorant if not mica?

    • @TheZombieFever
      @TheZombieFever 6 лет назад

      Cynthia Brooks You can use water soluable dyes. There is body safe food colorant available as well as lakes and dyes used in cosmetics. Anything that is water soluable doesn't need an emulsifier like poly 80 but colorants like mica and oil based colorants, or carrier oils in general, need an emulsifier to help them not stick to the edges of the tub or gather on the surface of the water.

    I just watch your bath bomb mould and that’s what I’m spending a lot of money on to find the right moulds.While watching something came to mind to sort out the dent moulds. Get a wooden mould made and put the dent ones in it and smooth them back out after each use. Let me know if you think this a good idea

      Cost of ingredients alone for me (because it all depends how much you pay for the ingredients) is approx £1.25 but there is packaging costs, tissue, packing peanuts, shipping boxes, equipment, time, thank you cards, ink for printers, all manner of other things on top of that such as paying for websites, shipping, electricity, any rent, rates etc. all kinds of stuff I sell these ones for £4.75 after all deductions I’m left with approx 25% net profit across the whole business

It lasts forever and leaves a rose bath each time I use it. The kids love the cupcakes and most are almost gone, LOL. I'm soaping again thanks to you tube channels (yours in particular) like yours and having the time of my life. • @EdensSecret1

      Bath bombs need to be wrapped. Simply because after they are made they absorb moisture. If your bath bombs are not hard enough when you make them, add extra water.
