Been seeing a lot of Lee main hate lately for some reason so… thanks for the kind words mate, pleasantly surprised! tbh I think most of his players including myself do have some of that "hard character" stink on him, but like… the actual character is such a dweeb. I don't care what anyone else says or thinks, he is SO dorky, and I think people know it at least subconsciously because you're not going to stick with him if you're insecure the way Kazuya players are lol. (This is why he's the better brother :P… and by god i've been holding it in for so long but if Lees complained as much as Kazuyas did about "inconsistent combos/moves" to the point of actually getting them fixed, Lee would be more busted than Dragunov by now holy SHIT lmao. phew. I feel better now) most of the Juns I've fought have been pleasant, but… I have never had a good experience with a bear, like every form of toxicity you can imagine is almost inevitable, where are you finding the nice ones? :( I've been plugged on by far the most by Feng players tbh. And, not that I haven't met the tekken 8 Yoshis, i've met enough who are still willing to party even in ranked ime, have had whole matches where we just taunt and flip around and do silly stance dances. As an active Mishima main, playing a harder character doesn't make you better. Being frustrated at more "convienent" characters is understandable. But regardless of playstyle or toolkits, character does not dictate skill or prowess of a player on any video game, and does not entitle you. People play Tekken as they want, and no amount of complaining or discriminating is going to change that. Just have fun, that's the point.

Jokes aside, I don't think Kaz is the hardest most technical character and works 3x harder than most. The problem is that everyone else kind of gets shit done far easier since Kaz is still relatively traditional in T8 while everyone else has so many new things that changes them more significantly, some of them really not needing any of that new shit too (like why are Lars and Yoshi they way they are who asked for that)

But I dont believe alot of his tool really carry in any sense. His tools work but as you mentioned other characters have there own versions often times with more range and easier execution. The worst thing about kazuya is the lack of panic buttons, not that I want them, but it hurts when you see someone throw something out of nowhere and CH. It often doesnt compute the in my brain because I cant do it.
