Actually to be bluntly honest the NYPD does not have choir just a drum and pipe band so the lyrics are actually incorrect And in the original video they are actually playing the theme to the Micky Mouse show that was speeded up to fit the song
Amazing. I love this song and the original is one of my favourite christmas tunes. This version is fantastic. It really suits Ronan's voice and I'd love to see this released as a single. Maybe the cast should do an album of songs in the show. As for the words at the start and end, I can't fully make out what is said but I reckon that it's probably Gaelic.
I will now always think of Stuart McLean when I hear this song. On his last Christmas show, he had these guys play this song. That's actually how I discovered this band. I spent many years listening to Stuart's Vinyl Café on the radio, he always had such great stories. Good times :)
Damn, watching this (my favourite Christmas song!) just makes me want to see Once again, but I already have plans to see other shows first why does it have to close? :(
Awesome

+Matthew Donovan it's czech..
+Kateřina Marxtová What bit's Czech?
+Matthew Donovan the bit at the start and end that's not in English is in czech, as the show has czech and irish characters (and therefore, songs)
The beginnig and the end is a Czech Christmas song - Dej Bůh štěstí
Beautiful! Saw Once in London just before Ronan took the lead. Now I want to see it twice!
You really should. I know I'm biased but he is seriously amazing.
really good! i watched the ronan version and i want to watch it again!

A lot of Jameson and Cork Gin on the shelves ❤😉🤗
Love it! Does someone know where can I find the lyrics, I don't understand that part at the begining and at the end.
Try finding the lyrics of a Czech Christmas song Dej Bůh štěstí
Do you know how the internet works?
I love it! *-*
Úžasné, Ronan zpívá česky ❤🇨🇿
YES!
This Cast kidnapped me...
Girl with the dark hair is a bit meak but the the girl with the blonde hair gives it some kick!
I LOVE YOU BABYYYY!
is Ronan Keating in the musical?
The Great Schubert’s Guessing Game (2008)
Positively Pink (2007)
Bad Things (2016)
The Rainbow (2011)
Liar (2019)
The version Ronan done when he was drunk was much better
I like this version, but the best cover is from Ben Caplan
And what is bracketing the pogues song? Can't tell if it is gaelic or what.
LOL you dork.,
Argh. They have nothing on the original :)
