@@shortbusdriver83This is a strange coincidence, I saw Cristin Milioti a few weeks ago in New York in a diner. I didn’t say anything and didn’t stare, but occasionally looked at her while she was buying a bagel and some fruit; just a cool moment, the first famous person I have ever seen. She had a flip phone, keys, and a tangerine in her hands and tried to get her wallet out of her pocket and she sort of juggled things around, very casually, but pretty good actually.
"Once" on Broadway was the very first thing I have seen Cristin Milioti in, and she left a lasting impression on me with her beautiful performance. Fast forward a couple of years later when the identity of the Mother was finally revealed on "How I Met Your Mother" and I recognized her immediately and knew instantly that the showrunners knocked it out of the park with that casting.

Wow, I didn't realize Cristin Milioti was in the musical adaptation of Once! Great pairing of a perfect movie and song with once of my favorite actors.
This is the 'Falling Slowly' from the end of the show when the whole cast joins in. I like this version the best personally but the one with just the two is also gorgeous.
I've watched the Oscars for many years and don't think I've ever liked any moment better than when Glen and Marketa won for this song. Glen's acceptance was so humble and very real. Marketa was pushed off before she could say anything. After a commercial Jon Stewart called her back to the stage.
@@CliftonCosta Bahaha!!🤣 Thanks for the trip down memory lane; 17 y/o me (with undiagnosed ADHD and autism) had a lot to learn. But depending on the song, 5 minutes still feels like an eternity.😂
camhasanemail +GemmaPettersen Which was originally an excellent movie, which is why it was brought to Broadway. Original music by The Swell Season (Glen and Marketa).
This song has a little magic around it. Introduced as best song nominee at the Oscars by Dubliner Colin Farrell (he was "chuffed"). It won, coming from a small budget indie film. Glen's acceptance was very touching. Then Jon Stewart called Marketa back on stage after she'd been cut off. There are rarely Oscar moments as good as this. Then, the same story converts to a huge hit and many Tonys on Broadway.
this movie gripped me so hard back in ‘07 or ‘08 and it’s never let up. it’s one of my St. Paddy’s Day movies. The way they sing Lies Lies Lies is just…it breaks me.

Ok I knew she had a good singing voice but I didn’t know she actually dabbled in singing a lot more and made it one of her many professions. Damn Cristin is amazing. She made me love her roll as Sofia Falcone. She was silly as the mother Tracy in How I Met Your Mother, plays a scary but damaged Sofia in The Penguin, and here she is singing amazing. Wow
I'm feeling so many emotions while watching this that it's almost overwhelming. However, knowing that other people are experiencing a lot of the same things, makes me feel less alone

By far one of the most beautiful Arrangements. I like the semi orchestral acoustic almost choral feel it has. It just has such power with all the voices and all the instruments.
