i haven't played 16 since start of season 3 and after the changes i'm ready to hop back on the dunk train, and this video was an incredible re-starting point. amazing guide, funny commentary, and solid editing. really hope your channel grows big man, you've got something special going on here :)
Definitely think 16 is viable now (not broken) with his new changes. 236M and 236H going projectiles and assist is really nice. While also reaching further.
He feels so much more self sustaining, and the added confirms from 5SS give him the damage he needs to reliably 2 touch. I def think he's viable now (Especially with Sonic Fox playing him again lol)
I put 7 as I was on the right side (meaning you jump up and press left) normally it would be 9, but I didn't want to confuse anyone by putting opposite notation to the side I was playing on 🥺
Questions: I just started playing 16 so my main team now is 16/baby/janemba I wanted to switch baby assist to C since it is a beam the main problem I'm having is that Im having trouble punishing ppl that superdash thru baby's A assist. Is there a way to stop them with 16 when they superdash?
I have been debating putting 16 in my team. I might replace my 21 with him which is anchor or baby who is mid. I dont know if i should go through with the choice
Personally I think 16 makes a fine mid, and a decent point. I personally wouldn't put him anchor unless the rest of your team abuses his B assist very well! Hope this helps!
If done well 214H and their 5L will hit on the same frame, and since one of them is physical and the other a projectile they won't clash but trade (both will hit). But because the splash from 214H has a lot of hitstun you can recover from their 5L and dash 5L to combo
@@nightish_one6007 214h splash isn't a projectile iirc? it trades because 214h hits so low that most jab hitboxes don't hit it at all so it doesn't cause them to collide. While i'm unsure, I think 214h does outright beat any jabs that have a hitbox in the same area it hits, so it might be weaker against characters like agohan and 18, unsure on the last part tho.
@@somekinnn Janemba can 22S the splash, which means it's a projectile (but I will test that again just to make sure I'm not misremembering it) I don't get what you mean with the last part tho. But if their attack hits on the same frame as the 214H splash (like 5L after 6M), and they are in range to connect, they will always trade. To only way for 214H to complete win is if the 5L didn't come out in time, or simply didn't reach. But again, I will test this again just to be sure
Good editing, good presentation, good a16, you deserve to grow

Small error i noticed, in some points of the video, such as when it talks about crossups, "7" is used when "9" should be used. Otherwise awesome!

Yes, 16 can 2H or 214X (his jumping dunks), but of these anti air

@@BobbyDorf913 Thanks for the info. I will try him out as an anchor or mid and see how i feel
Normally i would just call an assist and whiff a power bomb. This helps my offense. Thanks
If you block a 6M or if they block your 6M, can you do 214H to beat there jab? 214H does start up in 6 frames
It might clash with 6 frame jabs, but it is his fastest move, at the cost of 0.5 meter XD

Great video but needs better volume bro
Try turning up the volume on your phone! It might help.
