Who would give their son to another couple to bring them to America? Parents were impatient and should have taken him to America themselves.

Being wealthy can be deadly, there's always the risk you missed something he obviously planned ahead for divorce not to be murdered though and even then the double whammy of it being made to look like suicide, so you cannot change the locks a moment too soon after mention of divorce to err on the safe side.

Zel's murder was brought justice by his drunk wife's death. She reaped what she sowed and her habits caught up to her. Dying so soon after her husband she never got go live her "better" life without her husband around, so I'm glad. Good riddance.
