The first method is the best, no driving instructor teaches that except Alex! It is very accurate in aligning the car parallel to the curb and can never fail no matter car of whatever size. Thanks Alex for your informative and unique techniques.
The first method is much easier. Mirror-to-mirror is for vehicles of similar size. Mirror-to-door handle is for vehicles larger than your car. The second method of knowing when to turn all the way to the left is crazy. Too many driving schools are teaching new drivers wrong. It's all about the money and not about how to pass the test. I'm in NY, my instructor told me NOT TO STOP at the ALL-Way Stop Sign because of the blind spots the other cars will not see me or know that I'm there. He said I must creep closer to the last white line where I can be seen by all vehicles. He also refused to show me how to straighten the steering wheels or to know when my wheels are straight. I'm looking for a new driving school.
You're right that different methods work better depending on the size of the vehicles. It's important to learn what suits your car and the specific situations you'll face. I agree that some driving schools may focus too much on passing the test rather than teaching practical skills for safe driving. As for the All-Way Stop Sign, 'creeping up' for visibility is important but always make sure to stop first for safety. It sounds like you’re making a smart decision looking for a new instructor who will teach you the fundamentals properly, including how to straighten the wheels. Best of luck with your search and your driving journey!😊🤞
Wow i realized my driver nstructor has been teaching me this wrong the whole time. No wonder I was having a hard time parallel parking, but I'll try doing your method. Looks much easier and less complicated. Also I have a ques, if I have a nissan rogue 2012 car, and see a smaller car how to parallel? And how to parallel if its a larger vehicle?
Glad the video helped clear things up! It’s surprising how a slight adjustment can make parking a lot easier. For your Nissan Rogue, when you’re parallel parking behind a smaller car, make sure to line back of your car to the car that parked . For larger vehicles, try to give yourself a bit more room when pulling up alongside, so you have enough space to make your turns without hitting the curb or the vehicle in front. Practicing these tips should make it smoother!"
Hello the mirror needs to line up with the corner of the left side of the car You talking about the second position not when you’re lining up mirror to mirror in the beginning?

Great question! The video explaining the 3/4 point will be uploaded soon, so keep an eye out for it. It’ll cover exactly how to identify that spot and make it easier to nail each maneuver. Stay tuned!

I am confused about three quarter
3 quarter is confusing, use method where you do one turn or full turn that's easier for beginners
