Why were they even written like that in the original series? What was the purpose? It was not funny, not interesting, it didn't contribute to anyone's character development, so why did they do it.
@@0deadx21 Because family members sometimes fight even though they love each other. Kids being kids. They fought a lot in retrospect. Even Bart and Lisa fight a lot less.

Being part of the first generation of ben 10 fans, l will say that the reboot is not that bad, it's fun, has some interesting concepts, had great episode finale each seasons, the new aliens it introduced are cool and l love the aliens worlds shorts which is something l wish we had back in the og series
The reboot got me back into ben 10 with how they handled vilgax(being better then vilgax prime IMO) and the mysteries of shock Rock and upgrade. I even went on to make a reboot continuation where rex and his world plays a bigger part, and the Saturdays even showed up from them to time. And I will allways love the reboot for that, and the best version of forever knight
I do perfer Ben having more than 10 aliens at a time. It was fun seeing Ben's list of aliens grow as time went on. The reboot limiting Ben's arsenal to 10 at a time is annoying since Ben's list becomes very lopsided by the time of Season 4. Ben had Four Arms, Humgousaur, and Rath while he loses Wildvine, Overflow, Gray Matter, and Upgrade which gave creative ways to solve the problem of the episode. Getting rid of that variety weaken the story. While I do agree that the Prime timeline had a problem of underusing some aliens, I'll take a huge arsenal of forms over a very limited set of forms that gets lopsided over time.
Yeah upgrade just stopped existing because he hacked the omnitrix... in a way that would be impossible in the prime timeline because of a thing reboot doesnt like much called *failsafes*
@@theuniversalviewer6334 1 that was a stupid retcon made by AF 2 aliens like Grey matter or wildvine are still in the device but locked out unlike upgrade. 3 In serial fiction, the term "reboot" signifies a new start to an established fictional universe, work, or series. The reboot was actually the first iteration I watched and to this day is the only one I've watched more than 1 full season of (I only watched 2 before it's upload schedule messed with school)
Well giving the series a premiere would be kinda pointless as we all know how Ben gets the Omnitrix thanks to the Original Series, so giving the reboot a pilot would just be a repeat of what we already saw in Classic
Ben 10 Reboot is one of my favorites in Ben 10. I loved Season 2 Finale with Fulmini invasion seeing in the inside of the watch was incredible and Fulmini invasion was a solid angle definitely my favorite. I loved Season 3 with Forever Knight establishing a partnership with Charmcaster and Kevin and going through time Omni forms were great something fun and fresh, I loved every Ben 10 Reboot movie in Season 5, While Ben Gen 10 felt weak but seeing Rex and Agent six bring back fun memories and Alien X Tinction was everything I wanted as a Ben. Ben 10 010 was a unique take on Ben 10 000s life and seeing him become himself again was great. Overall I loved the reboot wished it got a season 6 but I guess that was the end.
I’m pissed they never released that toy of Kraab they made for the reboot. I’ve wanted a toy of him ever since the episode “Hunted” back in the classic series
I don’t think the voice acting in the reboot is bad, but they didn’t bother to put a lot of effects over lots of aliens. Diamondhead and Upgrade I feel got away with it but Heatblast just kind of sounds like a normal dude when there’s no crackling noises.
5:08 I don’t agree with this point at all. While I don’t mind the idea that Ben can only have access to 10 aliens at a time, it means that the aliens he does have should be varied in their abilities and all distinctly unique from each other. Seasons 1 & 2 both did this pretty well. However, when season 3 rolled around, 3 of those slots were taken up by bruiser aliens (Four Arms, Humungousaur, Rath). I believe this was an absolutely terrible decision, and it greatly comprised the fights. Having 3 aliens that serve functionally identical purposes makes them almost indistinguishable from each other, especially since they toned down Rath’s personality. Additionally, this means Ben really isn’t incentivized to use his transformation’s powers creatively in fights, when he could just brute force it. I get that all 3 are extremely marketable aliens, but with limited slots for Ben’s alien roster, they should’ve been more considerate with their picks. Aliens like Big Chill, Upchuck, Chamalien, Lodestar, even Pesky Dust all could have made wonderful additions that both gave Ben a more diverse power set and for some of them given them some much needed additional appearances. But instead, what we got was a bunch of bodybuilders that have already appeared countless times throughout the franchise. I don’t know why I don’t hear people talk about this fact, but it has bothered me ever since I discovered his season 3 lineup.
I know u and maybe some other people have problems with the alien selection but remember when in the 4 original series Ben had 30000000000 aliens with electrical powers?
Honestly I really love that kevin in reboot has a crush on gwen it just makes more sense why the start dating in alien force mf kevin in the classic didn't give a crap and almost killed her in the no void

I know how much criticized is the Ben 10 reboot but I think it's really good. Of all the Cartoon Network reboots, this is by far, a well-made reboot. It's so dang good just like its predecessors. It may not have the same vibe as its predecessors, like the animation and what we fans are used to, but it's a TV show through and through. I wish more people give this reboot a chance, there may not be other good reboots other than She-Ra but this reboot is still worth watching.
There was a lot I liked about the reboot. I'd have liked a slightly bigger roster of new ond old aliens, but otherwise I found the second half enjoyable.
I haven't seen the reboot yet of Ben 10 but the segment you stated the Villians get overused please tell me do they have any episode with Charmcaster she's my favorite especially when she returned on Alien Force or Ultimate Alien. Yes Charmcaster returns, but it's not in the way many fans or I would enjoy. Gwen doesn't use magic but they hint her future self does. No Julie, Elena or love interests for Ben. But there's stuff for Gwevin.
@Chara The fallen classic continuity had 6 electric base alien Frankenstrike Brainstorm Ampfibian Shocksquatch Buzzshock Nanomech (he fires bioelectricity) No feedback is not an electric alien, he's a energy base alien like Chromastone.
I only watched the finale and some of the specials because the regular episodes arent my cup of tea personally. And the most noticable glaw is that theres not enough different sound effects and backgroun music. Specially in the finale, some of the greate action scenes only consist of the same punch stock sound and literally no music at all.
So it has a Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood problem where they assume you have watched the original anime. They saw the Last Airbender "My Cabbages" gag and made like 10 versions of it. Then downgraded alien and character designs while alien force was an improvement. I have a feeling alien appearance was determined by toy sales and what they were pushing at the time.
It 100% was. No sane person would occupy 3 of Ben’s 10 alien slots with Four Arms, Humungousaur, and Rath simultaneously unless they knew these aliens were extremely popular.
