Over the years I've tried a few Pete's locations, and found that most are good but not all were the very same. The location that used to be where "The Pizzaria" is now on Dunn and Drummond was the one I ordered from most. They as well as Pizza Villa were very consistent. However their competitor Gamblers was not so much. Strangely, Gamblers is the only one of the 3 that remains in it's original location, even though it's no longer the same owners. Also Joe I used to order pizza "well done" at times. You might find this could improve some of the more disappointing reviews you've had.
Thank you for that info! I appreciate that. I actually tend to order my Pizza well done off camera. But for Pizza reviews, I just order the Pizza and see how they serve it. I have my preferences, but I want to see what gets served when ordered simply and the same way every time. I have heard that Gambler's used to be really good and no longer is. You seem to know your Pizza game!
@@Ruddskies I love it! Since you bring that up. We order our Pizza with cheese and pepperoni. If cup and char is offered it is far more likely we will accept. However, we leave the upselling to the order taker. ;)
Funny thing is they probably overcooked it on accident and were probably yelled at by the owner. "Crap do we remake it? NO TIME SEND IT OUT" Haha. Luckily got just the right customer!!
I LOVE Pete’s Pizza. I’ve only had it a few times at the St. Catharines location. One of my favourite pizzas. They do an outstanding job and it’s so good. My favourite pizza outside of Welland and Port/Pazzos
Do you mean Pazzos across from the Beervondale on Chambers corners? I've yet to try that but looking at those pit charred wings is reminding me of La Nova over the River!!!
Well again watching before dinner, lol, that one looks amazing. Well done is the best way to go. I have actually brought pizza home before and finished it off in my oven.
Joe you must have been starving that day! Pete’s is alright. A little better than average. Owners of the Ontario St location are great people. Unfortunately the owner at the location is this review is not! A very difficult old man to deal with. Web site shows one price and he charges a higher price. I hate dealing with people like that. And he’ll yell at you on the phone for arguing about his own advertised price. I’ve gone there a few times because I enjoy the pizza but I can’t deal with that old guy any longer and am done with that place. If it gets sold again I’ll revisit it but not before. A proper rating for that place is probably high 7’s, possibly 8 on the right day. And certainly not better than Yank’s, Pie Guys, Frank’s, or Antica. C’mon Joe, not even in the same conversation with those places.
@@PizzaReviewJoe no I would not. My rating is made without regard to my experiences with the ownership. High 7s is very generous when compared to the other places I listed in my comment above.

Pete’s Pizzas are all independently owned and operated. I own the bunting road location. Feel free to Stop by and try our pie 🍕
Oh nice!
Do you also cook your Pizza twice there to make it crispy like this?
@@PizzaReviewJoe we cook our pies to perfection 👍 make sure you order our cup ‘n char pepperonis

@@timtucker7762 yes. Pazzos is my go to for pizza and wings. I love it there. Right at Chambers Corners, best pizza in Wainfleet
@@timtucker7762 yum! Which pit charred wings are you referring to?
We need a Pete's Pizza in Hamilton
