@@bustinMR2 That's the worst car for it! Having an open hood if a fuel line or injector lets go and catches fire he's going to boil his eyeballs. You can get booted from a sanctioned track for not putting your visor down. It's that serious 😎
Warbird is a prime unit. That car is soo sweet in and out. Those Aussie's have their own style and I like it.

i think it has alot to do with the Hospitality, Rodshop & Nogas and others shown Cleetus huge respect with shipping Toast Downunder to compete in our Summernats with his own car , and now Cleetus has returned the Hospitality to rip it in the Freedom Factory Cleetus and cars, just a shame COVID has ruined the party!!

As bizzare as burnout cars are they are still a high performance machine built to operate within specific tolerances. He had to have it on a generator for 45 minutes I htink he said just to warm the oil before starting it. Peak Australian burnout comptetition "Summernats" is held over the hottest part of summer and those cars are built to handle that sort of abuse for multiple minutes at a time. Cooler ambient temps, and going easy on it just isn't how the car is built to operate. So going harder on it is actually operating it in it's sweet spot and less likely to cause damage.
Aaron Kratzmann yeah a lot of it has to do with the fact that it’s burning meth and they have to heat the oil up in order to account for the temp offset that is caused when running meth. If you were to turn on the engine without heating oil up then it would take longer for oil to become less viscous and flow easier. Also, running meth extracts heat from the engine, turning on during cold oil start could actually make the oil temp cooler thus making the time for the oil to become less viscous, longer.
