I live in Daytona and when I want to get some solitude this is my go to. So peaceful quiet and great kayak fishing

Unfortunately, the Florida raised the price, but it is still affordable considering the alternatives.

Pretty nice and very quiet, peacful looking camping area. Not far from Daytona at all. Thanks, Vicky

Thanks for the video, I was there yesterday, 2/10/2022, to check out the campground but now there is a gate and you need a code to enter, so only paid campers are allowed in.....great area for hiking too...🇺🇸

When I go to check them out and they are gated a lot of them you can hike too check them out. It's not against the law to walk back in there plus I let my dog offleash walking back to them. Then we have Lou who doesn't miss a beat and he tells how far back they are! Thanks Lou.

Thanks for the review! One of our goals is dry camping throughout Florida during the winter months. Space can be hard to find. It's nice to see decent vertical clearance for large rigs. Our TH is 13.5' high.
About how far are places to take on fresh water before arrival, and to dump upon departure?

Hi Chuck. Tomoka State Park has fresh water and dump station if you want to integrate a short stay into your travel plan, otherwise the Flying J off I-95 near St. Augustine has a for fee dump station and free water fill. When we boondock, I usually alternate between campgrounds and boondocking to avoid separate dump station visits. Thanks for watching!

@@LivingOurDreamNow that's kind of our plan. Maybe a week in the wild, and 1-3 days in a park, depending on level of grubbiness (i.e., the last time we did laundry). Thanks for the reply.
