Hi Lou! Thank You for putting out these Fantastic videos; they are well though out, and highly informative! I have always been fascinated with Florida's State Parks, and the recreation that they offer. It is especially true with regard to camping/RVing aspects! I hope to get back down there again someday to help pass the wintertime away....Silver Springs State Park is definitely the place that truly touched my heart back when I was a young adult; the true natural beauty of this area just speaks to me! I will continue to watch, and support you and Melody, (and Milo!) in your adventures in getting and providing such beneficial material for all of our RVing information! Once again, Thank You! ~Lou
Hey Lou, you might need to come back to St Andrews SP as it’s been completely redone since it was destroyed by a Cat 5 Hurricane 5 years ago . They plan to open the last section soon. We love our hometown park😎
Thanks once again Lou, for ''Scouting out'' these gems that we can not [stuck up here in sno-country] but we are heading that way in February if we can get outa' Dodge''.! Thanks for all the hard work!!
Thank you for all the work you put into the videos! Your videos are always so informative! Love watching them, and hope to visit a lot of these parks in the near future!!
Very nice and have been to each of those parks, however, I cheat - I am a multigenerational Florida native. A side note on those oranges at Highlands Hammock. All orange trees are grafted with rootstock for hardiness and those trees in the park are some of the original trees and have gone back to rootstock resulting in the oranges being quite tart/sour.
only downside about those sites at highland hammock is that you will have NONSTOP folks cutting through your site, to get to the bathhouse. i only lasted 2 days before needing to move to another site. i wish more folks followed basic campground etiquette.
i am sure you recieved the email this week from florida state parks regarding non residents reservations. the change will.definately make getting reservations to the parks you list much more challenging if not impossible for the non resident
This is an overview video, so you would need to visit the video we published for each respective location to glean additional information on that visit. Lou
Thanks for the video. my question is this. Whenever I have looked for rv sites in Fl they are usually sold out but yet you videos shows many open sites available. I don't get it. Thanks

@@LivingOurDreamNow that is all we can do is see how it goes
Getting ready to go to Grayton Beach SP. was hoping it was on the list. We’ve never been there. Hope it’s worth the wait.
I live in Silver Springs in an RV park not too far from the actual state park.
What time of year were these video's made? Just interested about the weather.

There are people that book campsites at prime locations and only show for a portion of their stay or not show at all. Lou
OK thanks, that's kind of selfish of them but I guess they get by with it..@@LivingOurDreamNow
