Good Morning! Happy Thursday! I hope y’all enjoy today’s video! 🤍✨ Let me know what y’all are up to today! We are snuggled up on the couch for a snow day and I’m going to make some tortellini soup later! 🥰 Don’t forget- If you want to check out Dime Beauty, click this link! 🤍🤍🤍 www.dimebeautyco.com/discount/yarbrough20?redirect=/collections/lauren-yarbroughs-picks
OMG Oliver has to be one of the cutest babies I’ve ever seen, he seems so happy and contented. He rocks his sunglasses, lol. So happy that you’re staying relaxed and thoroughly enjoying everything!
Never tried Raising Cane until moving to Texas & we do like it. You’re so blessed to have your moms help. My mom stayed with us for 2 weeks after our daughter was born & what a relief it was to have her there!
Oh my gosh his smile just is so infectious and his little chattering is darling! A well fed baby and a well rested mama and daddy is priceless! How cute was that heart in the tub!!
I love Raising Canes! I don't go there often but it's so good! Oliver is the cutest! 🥰 Poppyseed chicken was my standby recipe when my kids were little. I can't find my exact recipe online so I'll list it here: 3 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded, 1 can of cream of celery, 1 can of cream of mushroom, 8 oz sour cream, 1 stack pack ritz crackers crushed, 1stick butter melted, 3 Tbsp poppyseeds. In a large casserole dish mix soups and sour cream. Add chicken and mix well. Top with crushed ritz crackers and poppy seeds. Drizzle melted butter on top and bake for 35 mins at 350. So good served with green beans or fruit salad on the side!
Loved this video. I remember those days with my sons. I felt like I could barely keep my head above water and then they’d smile and all was good again.
I could not agree more my baby is now two months old and the first month was tough on this first time momma.. but it’s getting better!! So for all the struggling mommas it gets better it just takes some time! 💕
I have to agree with you. I take care of a little sweet girl. Her mom drops her off. I changed her from sleeper to a cute dress, matching bow. And her flexed her hair.
Congratulations on your new baby Oliver. I can remember when my kids you newborns (such a huge blessing in our lives). I enjoyed watching your video. Now time for my coffee and then I’ve got to get productive.
Hey Lauren I loved this video, I loved hearing Oliver talking to you, these videos are great because when he is bigger you guys can look back on these videos and they make great memories. 💙😊
Oh my goodness Oliver is so adorable! I so miss those days. My son Nick is now 22 and graduating college in May! Enjoy every minute Lauren, it goes by so fast!
Oliver is so precious 🥰 He seems like a really good baby. Your routine is great. He is thriving so well and he's so vocal and content. Great job mama!! 🙋♀️😁💙
I used to put cereal in my babies' bottles at night even before they could eat solids and it totally helps them sleep better! A mom of several kids told me about it. And yes straight cereal helps too. Do whatever it takes to get sleep lol
Nice video. We love spaghetti too. I use the canned Hunts three cheese and Herb and Italian seasoning kind.. so good. I love the name Oliver and he is a little doll. Have a blessed week.
Your hair is beautiful! ✨ Oliver is the cutest! Can’t believe all the hair he has and that he is 3 months already! My babies had peach fuzz till they were one. ✨Have you ever thought about getting lights under your upper cabinets? It’s a game changer! ✨ Biscuits and Gravy for dinner--Pillsbury Grand rolls-cook as directed. In a skillet cook sausage and in another saucepan country gravy packets-cook as directed. Add the gravy to the sausage and then put over the biscuits.
Happy day to you Lauren, Will and Oliver; this video was so cute; your love for caring for your son is so strong in every aspect of this video and your husband's role is a Godly example........enjoy every month of your little boy's life; he will have new beginnings daily..........I loved every moment of this video.
Hey Lauren! Are you going to continue teaching or have you decided to take a step back since having Oliver? You are doing a great job with him, he is so happy and so cute! ❤️
My Mom used to add a small amount of watered down cereal to our formula as babies and she said we used to sleep the night through also. Mamas know best! 😁👏🏼🙌🏼 I am glad it’s working for you.
My 3 thank god slept all through the night from 5-6wks and had 2 teeth each at this age too. One cross teeth it was so sore on the baby at that age but those were the best days. They are now 21 19 and 17 I miss wee baby talks and smells have fun X
Hey Lauren! First of all, just realized we share the same name andddd my husband’s name is Will too. So kind of funny🤣 also I LOVE watching your videos to prepare me for a day in the life of a newborn momma. I’m only 8 weeks now but I’m so excited (and a little scared haha) but I’ve been following you for a while and just love your videos! Also yessss girl as soon as I heard the 3 pc chicken combo I was like atta girl. Canes = life. Your little babe Oliver is so cute and just know that you have a whole fan base (heheh) who loves your videos and your family!💕
Lauren! I am with you on the breastfeeding troubles. Our sweet girl will be 4 months next week and we have had some struggles. We implemented formula for 1 feeding and that has helped alot. Thank you for sharing your routine as a new Mommy!
I breastfed my first for-eveeer. It ruled my life for years. I dropped an unhealthy amount of weight and got no sleep ever. I wasn’t able to get breaks because he wouldn’t take a bottle. It took a toll on my physical and mental health. I’m 33 weeks with baby #2 and am seriously considering breastfeeding and then switching to formula after a few months!! What formula do you use?? I’m glad you guys are doing what’s best for you!!! It’s so important. Baby Oliver is sooo adorable. 🥰💜
Good morning. Oliver is so adorable and listening him baby talk is cute. He's growing fast. His hair is growing fast also. And those little shoes, my goodness. Lol.
Look at you in mommy mode. Oliver is so stinking cute. Probably the most intelligent conversation of all day would be with him. Lol. And yes Raising Cane's you better get you some. Love them.
Ok super weird! I JUST used dime beauty tonight for the first time, got on YT and this video was in my recommended. My jaw dropped when you started using it 😂
Hey! Great video 💕 We live in Louisiana so naturally we love Raising Canes! They’re actually building one close to my house 🙌🏻 so I’m super excited for that. Also, I’m 100% Prego. I’ve used Ragu a few times for Lasagna but will get Prego every time if it’s available!
I am in Cincinnati and we are getting freezing rain and snow today. I am going to indulge in some YT cleaning tutorials...lol. Oliver is adorable and that hair is so thick! Great video.
Girl I’m OBSESSED with Canes. I have a 5 week old little girl & I’m still over here just trying to survive. 😅 hoping to get more in a routine this month.
Not a mom, but I have mom like tendencies! Crock pot meals are easy and fun and you can have leftovers for days. Meal prep; protein, carbs, healthy fats so you don’t have to eat out. Routine is definitely key to success! If you don’t have a planner, get one! Plan out meals, workouts, self care day etc! Obviously always have a plan B, C and D. And give yourself grace 🙏🏼
My boys did so much better with rice cereal! I can not get over how stinkin adorable Oliver is! I miss those days sooo much😭 All 3 of my boy started teething very early, a tooth didn't necessarily pop through that early, but the process started. Those little mits you bought look so handy!
Hi Lauren, thank you for the video. A small suggestion, you could give Oliver the rice cereal with his bottle, you will just need the next size up teat. My daughters pediatrician didn't recommend spoon feeding her until she was able to sit up unattended. You're doing a great job. I'm happy you get longer stretches of sleep at night and I'm looking forward to seeing your night time routine with Oliver 🤗 he is such a cutie by the way. 🥰
How you mix the cereal in the bottle? I mean my baby eat 5oz of formula do i just need to add the cereal with the formula or prepared the cereal and just put in the bottle? Im a new mom so im just wondering how to do it. Thanks
I didn't know your mom was a teacher also. It runs in the family! Not sure if I missed it in another video or not but are you planning on going back to work also? Or is the plan for you to stay home with Oliver? :-)
Hi Lauren! It’s curious to see how different things are from one country to another. In Spain is not recommended give cereals to babies until they’re 6 months old, maybe 4 in some cases if the baby doesn’t gain the correct weight. In my case I never give my baby cereals and when he was 6 months we started blw. He’s now 2 and half years and I still breastfeeding him ♥️ I felt it was never hard for me. I’m not judging!! I’m only sharing my experience!!! All decisions are fine if you, your husband an Oliver are happy!! I’m also a teacher and I didn’t start working again until he was 2 years. Sorry for my english… I’m not as used to talk and write in it as I wanted! Kisses!
I never carry a purse when I have a diaper bag. It's just too much. I just toss my keys and wallet in the diaper bag. I've never heard of that restaurant. I have those same spoons. I can't wait to use them. I used rice cereal in the bottle for reflux and it made my babies all fat. 😆
I'm Portuguese and we use rice cereal a few weeks to a month after baby is born. We only add a little bit to the bottle for night feeds only it works wonders! My cousin has a 1 month old who sleeps through the night thanks to the rice cereal. I know people have different opinions but really it's whatever the parents think is best! 😁
The rice cereal was a game changer for me also,. I think docs now days don't recommend, but I fed my kids this at night and it helped to sleep longer. It's been along time since I did this because my kids are all grown and out living their lives. Beautiful oliver
Hi Lauren! The rice cereal was a game changer for us as well. Y’all are better than us because we just throw it right in his last bottle. Have you tried a Crack chicken recipe for a quick dinner? It is sooo yummy and you can just throw everything in the crock pot. Grab that recipe off Pinterest.

He is absolutely adorable!!! Very contented baby!!!!
Try using Lipton Onion Soup in your ground beef. You don't need any other seasoning. I think y'all will love it
Precious little Oliver….. truly enjoyed the video.
God Bless.
You're doing an awesome job as a mama. 💞
You are such a good mom! So much love!

Oliver’s little sunglasses 😍 so cute!

Lauren, Oliver is so darn cute! What a good baby. I enjoyed watching the video. Keep them coming.

Hey hey! I woke up feeling sick and my sinuses hurting. So I hope this video helps me to be somewhat productive
Hey Lauren! Are you going to continue teaching or have you decided to take a step back since having Oliver? You are doing a great job with him, he is so happy and so cute! ❤️

No, it’s not adjustable. How tall are you? I’m kinda tall too and it still works perfect! I’m 5’7
